The system works well - but it doesn't tell you that your card will be charged with the full amount the moment you make the booking.

Tagvenue was able to provide a great list of potential properties for me to host a party and I was quickly able to narrow this down to one. The only issue i faced was that there was always a discrepancy on the minimum spend; ie the online quote Vs the actual quote was always different. I also think that there should be a filter for whether U18's will be at the event. There were a few cases where I was planning to book the whole venue but no kids under 18 were allowed to be in the venue after 7 pm.

It was good to find a room at a reasonable price. However, having been led to believe that the hire price was £50 it was like... Now we've got your interest, we're going to say it's FROM £50 and force the price up (to £100). I felt manipulated

Not sure if Tagvenue manages the calendars for the places, but my booking had an issue as the calendar had a glitch, hence had to change date. This affected the schedule of the photographer I hired.

It was quite hard to get consistent communication which was a bit nerve racking as the events was approaching, but in the end it all worked out.

Hi, I have booked training rooms previously by contacting the business directly, speaking with the rep and exchanging emails. I am happy with that process. Booking via Tagvenue did not add any benefit to me

Hello, Thank you for helping me find the venue for the event on 11/6/22. Portland Suite was perfect for the occasion and perfectly accommodated 43 guests. However, a few things led us down a bit. 1. The temperature on 11/6/22 was 21 degrees outside. There was a Dj booked for the event and guests were dancing to the beats but after some time it got really hot and sweaty. I looked at the temperature of the room it was 19 degrees I tried setting it but did not work. 2. The chaffing pans/dishes were really old. The fuel did not work throughout. When the hotel staff was bringing in the chaffing dishes and handing them to the caterers they mentioned that the chaffing dishes haven't been used for long. This and the heat in the room led to the spoiling of food (massive) and had to throw away at the end of the event. 3. I had venue viewing on 6/6/2022 with the house manager and clearly explained the arrangement highlighting that I do not want the tables on the left next to the entrance. Later I phoned on 9/6/2022 to go through the arrangement has the number of chairs/tables/cutleries/napkins sorted and add about providing us chaffing pan/chaffing dishes(which i did not ask for initially on 6/6/2022). In that call, I mentioned that I want water jugs on the round table all the time, throughout the event by which I meant that I wanted Jugs on the tables where the guests will sit for starter/main course/desserts. On the day of the event when I reached the venue at 4 pm, I saw the table at the left of the entrance still there and when I mentioned to the staff to remove it they said they were instructed to have it there and it will be difficult for them to move that as underneath the table there were storage items. As I kept insisting that I do not want the table there also that I had highlighted it specifically on 6/6/2022 and we had a photo booth that we wanted to set up in that area they phoned the manager as of course they will work as per instructions from him. After a bit of rift, the staff were extremely helpful (specifically Sam) and agreed to move the table and help sort. Really thankful to them and appreciate it. But the manager was extremely difficult he kept saying he has been doing events for 27 yrs and knows it all (not only on the day of the event when the staff handed over the phone to sort the table issue but also in my first meeting on 6/62022 and on-call on 9/6/2022). As a customer how is it helpful to me that his 27 years of experience means nothing to me when the things that I had highlighted were ignored? And he doesn't let the person at the other end speak much but just goes on with whatever he wants to say. He needs to concentrate and work a bit on his listening skills. Staff also complained to me about same that he has been trying to speak to the manager about a personal issue for 3 months but had no luck as he never allows other person to speak. At the same time, a few of his suggestions have been very helpful. Having said all of this the event was a success.

This is a purposeful site and I found my dream venue. The details regarding the venue were accurate but a lot of venues details were incorrect to be specific; price. For people who have a price range, you can get disappointed when the details change after inquiring. I would recommend tagvenue again and be interested to see if my review is valued because this is important when looking for a venue

great idea but poor execution of the platform. way too many emails from different people all asking the same thing and wanting the same information. great venue with super helpful people when i arrived and through out the day.

It took a while for the wheels to turn (ie. to get an initial response) but I managed to book what I hope to be the perfect venue. Upward feedback: if venues close at 11pm or are not open, say at night, that info ought to be up there in the first instance. Maybe the algorithm needs a little tweeking.

Support from your team was very good. The platform no so good, when I clicked on making my booking I got a reply saying it was accepted and that I would get confirmation from the location chosen, no response from the location came through so three days later I chased only to be told at that point (not previously) that payment was needed to confirm booking - quite happy to accommodate that but hadn't been told and I had to chase it myself.

Disappointing ... food was not worth the cost (including a shop bought piece of panettone as dessert), service was patchy (sometimes rude), private room is attractive but toilet that went with it was out of order. No one replied to my feedback. Would not repeat or recommend.

We booked the Soda Bar for our Office Christmas Party (about 45 people). We were meant to have access from 5:30 and 6:00pm guests would arrive. At 5:50 the venue was completely empty, no decorations, no bar tenders and half of our drinks agreed in the package weren't available. The food was also served a bit late, but the quality was very good. In the end the people were pleased but I would recommend the venue to make sure they have stock in place (the excuse we were given was that they were busy and they had a prior event, but for someone who has worked in events for a while now, we know that's not right). Never touch the stock from the next function unless you can guarantee it to be re-stocked for the next one.

Not very good communication. The booking meant to be until 3am and the manager kicked us out at 12am. This really ruined the experience.

Good Selection of venues, information is not always as clear as you would hope but speaking to the venues directly clears all that up. Messaging system is very slow.
