“It is a pleasure to write this review because I have had the most satisfactory experiences with this company, three separate pairs of sunglasses, all with damaged lenses, were replaced by Tajima Direct lenses in the last few months. The frames for these sunglasses were in reasonably good condition, and I could find no local eye care businesses, or the companies that sold them, willing to replace the lenses. All three pairs were relatively expensive and purchasing new sunglasses was an option I was not pleased about. Following the first outstanding results provided by Tajima Direct, and the excellent new, and better, lenses that were replaced in my Costa Del Mar sunglasses, I decided to send in two more pairs. Before this, I had sadly, and reluctantly, considered throwing them all away. An action that seemed irresponsible and unnecessarily wasteful.
In the next order, I sent in one Costa Del Mar pair that belonged to my wife and a second pair of Serengeti Drivers that were mine and scratched up from decades-old wear from almost daily use. The important thing that mattered to me was the high quality of lenses that Tajima used to replace the originals, and the very personal communications I regularly received before, during, and after the orders were placed, for all three pairs of sunglasses. It seems as if I know Jacob and Steve more as friends than as business people. The convenience they provide to ship the sunglasses, and the speed at which they were returned, were efficient and exceptional. My experiences with this company have renewed my faith in people I have never met, and in the kind of services, they can provide. Without any doubt or reservations, I would wholeheartedly recommend and encourage Tajima Direct to anyone who desires to have a damaged pair of glasses replaced as opposed to buying new ones.

“I love these Rose/Copper tinted lenses. I had cataract surgery and reused a pair of prescription Maui Jim frames that I loved for nonprescription lenses since I don't need a prescription anymore. Easy to install and a perfect fit. Contrast seen with this tint is unbelievable.”

“Jacob and team at Tajima were terrific! I broke a lens in my my Maui Jim sport sunglasses. I needed a few special considerations - reflective polarized lenses for water sports, progressive bifocals, and astigmatism prescription. The ordering was very straight-forward and talking to them on the phone, I got good advice to get exactly the lenses I wanted. Delivery and turn-around time was acceptable; not super fast, but after all, it takes a few days to make quality lenses so I am glad they take their time and do it right. I am quite satisfied with my new lenses in my old frames, and I would highly recommend Tajima to other prospective buyers. And I had a few follow up questions, after I received by glasses, to which Jacob was very responsive. Great customer service.”
