“The only issue I've encountered is that with todays low flow fixtures the heater will not always activate. It trys and then eventually gives up. I have to open another fixture on the first floor to get hot water on the second. I have plenty of pressure just not enough flow.”
Hello Cathie and Michael. Thank you for your review and feedback. The unit does need 0.4 gallons per minute to turn on, which is just short of a normal hand sink on full. Once activated the flow rate can be reduced down to 0.1 gallons per minute which is a hand sink barely on, but it does take about a hand sink's full water pressure to first turn on. If that is not the case you may want to contact Rheem tech support to see if there is a setting or something that needs to be adjusted. That number is 1-800-432-8373.
