Thank you for the opportunity to review Recirculation Pump. In a word, I failed. That's why I'm not using Recirculation pump. The reason is that the water pressure from hot water drops when the recirculation pump is operated, making it uncomfortable. I would like to know if there is a way that the water pressure of hot water does not drop when the recirculation pump is activated. Thank you.

Recirculation pumps recirculate the hot water prior to hot water being used, so that when you wash your hands or take a shower you have instant hot water. Once the cold water from the previous use has recirculated it would not need to activate again while hot water was being used. However, I may not being understanding the issue. I have checked our records this is the first we have heard of this from you. That said you can check the other reviews of the recirculation pumps and see people really like them. The review requests go out automatically to all of our customers about 90 days after their purchase, and this is not something other people using a recirculation pump have reported, so whatever is going on with your pump it is due to some sort of installation or other issue that can be resolved. Please contact TACO technical support at 401-942-8000 and work with them to get the pump working properly. If it is deflective and needs to be replaced it will be.

Came in dented and ridiculous looking on the exterior…I was told I could purchase another cover and pay shipping. Not happening for a brand new unit that the distributor or carrier damaged. My Response to an email regarding my review. They clearly didn’t like the negative review, but won’t allow me to respond back easily. The box came in that way. I even told you that the box was damaged. If you are in fact, the person I emailed back-and-forth you totally disregarded everything I had to say about it. You are more than welcome to post to reply to my review, but my review stands. I currently have a dented hot water heater, on the side of my house. And no, I had no reason to open it up when it first came in, as I was not installing it for a while. Perhaps you guys should be better with your packaging.

Hi Tiffany, I just looked up your order and read all of the emails. You sent an email after the unit was installed, and you had the unit for more than 30 days already, saying there was a minor dent to the replaceable front cover. I told you I was sorry to hear that, because the unit has been installed and you had in your possession for more than 30 days we could not file a UPS claim, but that we did have replacement available. Even though you did not opt to pay the extra $15 to have the unit double boxed and padded, the unit had been installed, and you had it for more than 30 days I offered to provide the replacement cover at our cost which is $48, and split the cost of its shipping with you. There was some back forth, but end with you saying you were sorry for being rude, that your renovations were stressful, that you had some other issues with other appliances you had ordered, and you would not be needing the replacement cover. I am sorry for the difficulties you faced while renovating. I am glad to hear the unit is working well for you, and if you change your mind as I told you back in September if you change your mind the replacement covers are available and that is an open offer on the cover and splitting its cost of shipping with you.

Ordered 5 indoor tankless units - went to install them and one was an outdoor unit and had to be returned. The replacement arrived but it was missing the hot water valve assy. Now they are sending a replacement that they say doesn't match the other 4. Doesn't really seem like a good way to do business to me.

Hello Butch, I am really surprised to read this and see the star rating. I don't know why you would say these things. There was no outdoor unit that had to be exchanged, and you have never sent any emails or calls about missing valves. I know there was some confusion with the three units that were shipped direct from Rheem, and you had to schedule an appointment for their delivery, but that was it as far as hang ups go. You got 5 commercial units at the best possible price. The picture you show shows they are all received in good condition, installed and working properly, so I am not sure what happened to upset you, but if you send me an email and let me know what is going on I will do what I can to resolve it.

I received my radiant manifold for my specific boiler which was ordered correctly based on the boiler. I did a dry test fit an found the flush valve fouls on the gas line. So I sent pictures showing this. I was told " we don't accept returns on installed items" Then when I said it was a dry test fit and here are images of the flush valve clearly showing the issue, They said we " sell these all day long and no one has complained, you probably didn't get the right one" Well I did get the right one. Now I am suck with figuring out a solution. I took the manifold off and decided to see what I could do, I removed the flush valve and as you can see from the photos, you could never had flushed the boiler anyway. The valve was clogged with pipe dope. So I checked the other one. Same issue. This is a 300$ part, that is poorly made with little to no quality control. If you go by their returns policy, you are stuck with it, or you will be paying a hefty price to return it, and if they decide it was installed, I am sure they will charge you a return postage fee. Oh look, I can't add pictures in the reviews even though it says, add pictures. DON'T BUY FROM THEM

I think that there maybe some confusion. The part you bought from us the is a pre-assembled copper manifold kit for a Rheem combination tankless water heater boiler. It is for the hydronic heating portion of the unit. We are a store, not service technicians or installers. We have no ability to help with installation. You would need to call Rheem technical support at 1-800-432-8373 or your qualified installer for help with installation. If there is something wrong the part it is under warranty, but the warranty is of course with the manufacture Rheem, again we are just store. After speaking with Rheem if the part is defective and needs to be replaced you would send us an email with the case # and new manifold kit will be sent out. If you do not have a Rheem combination tankless water heater boiler or if the part was installed incorrectly, I am sorry, but we of course cannot provide refunds for installed products. If it has not been installed you are welcome to send it back. When we ship what was ordered the customer is responsible for the shipping costs, and there is a 10% restocking fee to cover our no refundable charges such as credit card processing fees. The restocking fee is waived for exchanges.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.... I WILL NEVER RECOMEND TO DEAL WITH ROMANO, HE HAS SUCH A BAD ATTITUDE AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.

I am sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience. We and I do all we can to help customers if they need it. As a website more often than not we do not communicate with customers with the exception of the order confirmation email, and shipping email. We do a good job of getting our orders out on time, so there is not often reason to speak with customers directly. If customers do have questions about the units before ordering we are happy to help and do our best to understand the customer's needs and make the best recommendations.  If there is an issue with an unit we are not the manufacturer and do not provide warranty or technical support directly, which is done through contacting Rheem technical support at 866-720-2076 for gas and propane units, and 800-374-8806 for electric units. If you called with installation questions or issues, Richard Romano would have directed you to Rheem technical support, as he is a sales person, and not able to provide that type of support.  If you bought the wrong unit you are welcome to return in new condition within 90 days of the order, as long as it is returned in new condition. When we shipped what was ordered the customer is responsible for the shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee if the unit is not being exchanged. We of course cannot provide refunds or exchanges for damaged or installed units. Please check the Shipping, Exchanges and Returns section of the site for those full policies, which are included in the terms of service as well.  Because your review was left anonymously it is not possible to look up your order,  and your review does not say what the issue was that Richard was not able to help you with, but I hope this helps. Customer service has been horrible and very difficult to work with. Water heater is very noisy and have gotten nothing more then the run around. If you buy one pray it does not have issues

You must me the technical support, because I just checked and we do not have any calls or emails from you since your order last December. That said Rheem technical support is top notch. When there is something wrong with a unit it is not properly heating water or giving an error code it gets taken care of. Rheem stands by their products. I am sorry you have had some troubles, let me make sure you have the correct phone #. It is 866-720-2076. Also, the Tankless Water Heaters do not actually make noise. They do not even have a decibel rating, but they are typically mounted right against the wall, and do vibrate when in use. This vibration is noticeable if you are right on the other side of the wall, or if you have something inside the wall rattling around, but the units themselves do make any noise. You many want to check to make sure the mounting brackets and screws are tightened down to prevent additional rattling, and that the unit is mounted to studs.

Unit came damaged. Box is intact. Now arguing with Tankless Water Heater Depot regarding what was written in the lengthy "Refund and Exchange Policy for Damaged Products". I did wonder why I had to agree to this strange policy. Now I know. Next time, I'll go to Home depot, the going back and forth is not worth the $100 I saved.

Hi Phil, I am sorry you are upset and leaving a bad review, but I am not sure what is the matter. The images you sent show no visible damage to the front cover, but as I have said even though I cannot see it, and you have agreed it is very minor, it does not matter we will send you a replacement cover for free and pay for the shipping. The cover that you are saying has some minor dent on it, pops on and off. It is just a protective metal cover. We will send you a replacement cover even though minor dents can usually just be popped out with your fingers after removing the cover, and obviously have no impact on the unit's warranty or performance. The unit itself is perfect, as you have said in an email you just sent. It has no damage at all. You have had it since Monday. We could file a UPS claim as I have told you, but because you have had the unit for more than 72 hours, the damage (if there is any) is very minor, cosmetic only and to a replaceable part so it would be impossible to get UPS to replace the whole unit, nor would that make sense, as its perfect. They would probably pay for a new cover, but as I have told you it is not worth the time it would take to win an insurance claim for a replacement cover that costs me $28. I have offered to pay for the cover and pay to ship it to you. I have responded to every email you have sent promptly and am offering to provide a new cover. Not sure what else we could reasonably do?

The wiring in the unit was not correct. The unit went from Luke warm to cold. It needed to be replaced.

Hello Gary, I am sorry to hear that. I see your order from May 16 of this year 2020 for a Rheem RTEX-13. I may not be understanding your review, but I do not see any warranty information or a case # for you. If the unit is defective or intermittently not working please call technical support at 1-800-432-8373 and the unit will be fixed or replaced. The unit has a 5 year warranty. That said the RTEX-13 is a small electric unit made for a single kitchen sink or a couple of hand sinks. It could be used for a single low flow shower in most climates or a standard shower in places such as Miami or San Diego. It only has a 44 degree temperature rise at 2 gallons minute. If you were trying to fill bathtubs or run regular 2 gallon per minute showers with you living in Michigan there is just no way that unit would get water hot enough.  It is important before buying a tankless water heater to know what the max gallons per minute of hot water you will need and what the needed temperature rise is, and select a unit that will provide those needs.

i will never buy anything from Rheem LLC. it was fast transaction getting the money but when i asked for return they made it hard so nop thank you not purchase from rheem any more bad experience

Hello Soumar Almasri. As I said to you in our emails and on the phone I really wish that prior to your ordering the RTEX-24 in the evening of Feb. 5th 2020 that you checked the electrical requirements of the unit, which are listed on the product page, as well as the Spec Sheet. It clearly says that unit is 100 AMPs and requires 3 dedicated 40 AMP breakers. I understand after receiving the unit you then learned that you did not have electrical requirements. As I explained to you, you are welcome to return the unit, but because we shipped what was ordered you are responsible for the shipping costs, and a 10% restocking fee if you are not exchanging the product. The restocking fee is waived for exchanges. Shipping these units is not cheap, we are not able to spend over one hundred dollars in shipping costs, when we shipped what was ordered. The restocking fee covers the non-refundable credit card processing or PayPal fees, as well as the employee costs it took to get the unit safely shipped from our warehouse in Lacay WA to your location, and then to inspect the unit and restock it once it is returned. Prior to purchasing the shipping, exchanges and returns policies have to be read and agreed to. Even if you do not read it all the disclaimer at the top, which I am including below, is pretty clear. If you are not sure if the unit is going to work for you, it is a good idea to find out, before having the unit shipped, so that if it will not work for whatever reason, you do not have to pay the shipping costs and restocking fee. Obviously, if we ship the wrong product, which is not the case here, but if that were the case, we would of course pay for all the shipping, as that would be our mistake, but when we ship what was ordered, the customer is welcome to return any item in new condition for a refund, but they are responsible for the shipping charges. I am sorry it sounds like you are having some troubles with the RTG-95DVLP-1 you ordered from us. I am not sure if I understand what you mean by it won't stay lit. It is a tankless unit so there is no flame, and only heats the water that you are using as you are using it. If you are saying that once you start using hot water, the unit stops working or heating water properly that means it is defective, or not installed properly. It either needs to be replaced or fixed. The unit is fully under warranty. It has 12 year warranty on the heating element, which is what sounds like may be what is causing the issue, and a 5 year warranty on all other parts. Please call Rheem technical support at 1-800-432-8373. Be by the unit when you call, so that can go through some troubleshooting steps to try to diagnose and fix the issue. If it is defective send me an email with the case # Rheem gives you, and a photo of the units rating plate and we will get a replacement unit shipped out strait away. Again, I am sorry for the troubles, but these are great units, and I know that once you get yours working properly you will be happy you have it.

I am sorry you had a bad experience. I see your order from 10/07/19. I see the email I sent you with UPS tracking # and delivery date, and I see the unit was delivered 10/11/19. From looking at it I cannot tell what we did wrong, or why you would advise people not to buy from us. We have everyday discount prices, no sales tax outside WA State, Free Ground Shipping with Insurance, ship units the same business day they are received on, and all of our units come with pre-wired temperature controllers. We pride ourselves on being the best option for Rheem tankless water heaters, and providing the best possible customer service. That said if you are having issues with the unit please contact Rheem technical support at 1-800-432-8373. The unit is brand new and fully under warranty. If there was an issue with the UPS delivery please let me know by sending an email to either support@tanklesswaterheaterdepot.com or ReemTanklessHeaters@gmail.com.

I am so sorry you are not happy with your purchase. The RTEX-04 is the smallest electric tankless water heater there is. I am not sure what you are using for, but it is for a single hand sinks only, and a at minimal temperature rise. That said if it is not working it is fully under warranty. Please contact Rheem Technical support at 1-800-432-8373. Be by the unit when you call. If it is defective and not working send me an email with case # and a photo of the unit's rating plate and new unit will be sent.
