I booked my holiday back in June to come and have a nice relaxing time with my son I am single parent . I am currently in Spain malaga . I came yesterday however I am very desapointed by the hotel and it is services .no entertainment , no kids pool or kids entrainment. Food all frozen rubbish . No room clinging . The atmosphere is off ! All inclusive. I am gutted nothing i expected . I call them earlier to change to another hotel . And they said one of the team will call me back tomorrow if nothing is done I will cut my holiday short . Very misleading all I can say for now . I will have to make a formal complaint if they don’t chAnge the hotel for me . I am very upset and feeling depressed when I am supposed to be on a sunny holiday relaxing

Awful service, used teletext many times and only ever had one issue but today rang to say we might cancel and what was the policy as due to travel 23rd August, the conversation went on to looking at going somewhere else, call disconnected no one rang back, then emailed my hotel as go there often to be told teletext had already cancelled it without my agreeing to it! Unbelievable!

Lynda I am due to fly to Madira on 9 july, easyjet have cancelled the flights but teletext have not refunded money after lots of phone calls been put on hold and cut off .Would like a refund of £1110 asap TT771335 will not be booking with these again

Yes was going on holiday in march, it was cancelled because of the coronavirus, we have not had our refund yet. I feel if we didn't pay for our holiday on time they would have cancelled it. I know the travel agency are stuck on paying without the travel company paying out,but they could push it a bit quicker.

You have kept me waiting now for my refund and numerous emails sent .I have been passed from.pillar to post and still cant get a result.please send me my cash refund .i do not want a credit note and the airline are awaiting your input to achieve this .

I’ve havnt heard from teletext holiday yet I meant to fly to turkey 2 weeks time ive been trying to phone and email no reply I’m not happy this holiday cost.a lot of money I want it back just help the customer

Received an email today after booking to go to New York in April 2020. Due to the COVID-19 issue we are no longer able to and the trip was cancelled. Received an email today (below) and after contacting TeleText they asked me to rebook. I'm not sure whether the representative has been waiting the news, but booking to go to New York now seems like the worst piece of advice I have ever received. I was told (verbally) I have a credit note for a year. I asked to have this in writing as I am yet to receive this information. A follow up email should be sent to me in 48 hours. Watch this space. I would much prefer a refund and not have to worry about rebooking. Looks like I may have to go through travel insurance. -- As a travel company, we have been closely monitoring Government guidelines to ensure we take appropriate action to protect our customers in what is a truly complex and challenging situation, and have been working around the clock to support our customers. Given the recent Government advice not to travel, Gold Medal (the supplier that your holiday was booked with, via Galileo) have now cancelled all bookings made due to depart up to 30 April 2020 and are now issuing credit notes for the amount paid on your booking. Please call us on 0207 741 1466 and one of our agents will be happy to assist you with re-booking an alternative date. Kind regards, Teletext Holidays

Told not to contact teletext and trust they will contact me at future date which is unclear,paid I. Full and just have to wait (not good)

The price advertised was never available. Was told we had 10kg luggage but when we checked invoice was not there. Contacted customer services who said would get back to us withiin 48 hours but still waiting 10 days later. They don't want to know once they've got your money.

Please dont trust teletext as my holiday last year in August 2018 was nightmare. When we arrived at the hotel. My room was hotel was fully booked. No space and kept us waiting for 3 hours. Then left us in a bed sit for 4 hours. Brought us back the following day and give us a small box room. We paid for a deluxe room and did not get it. The customer service is shocking. There was no english speaking staff in the hotel. It was a joke. Please dont book with teletext as they dont care.

Prices were significantly higher than advertised on the website - I had to change my dates and still ended up paying about £50 more than the quote. That being said, the price was still extremely cheap and the booking process was quite easy, although I did get the sense that I was being deliberately misled a couple of times (for example, when I requested our ‘free transfers’ were removed, the price mysteriously went down) Worth a punt if you can deal with a pushy salesperson but don’t bother calling if you’re not good at giving a firm ‘no’

The price advertised is not even close to the price you actually pay. They did reduce the price a little but I was still left feeling a bit conned. I had promised the holiday to my daughter so I carried on with it anyway but I was still offered no real explanation as to why it was so much more than advertised, they just said that the price I saw was the start price.

I used teletext a few times in the past , but last time I was mislead. The prices you see online are not the final price you pay. the price i seen online was 136 per person, wich for a couple it would be 272. i called and the price i was given was 384 for 2. then they droppep to 329. I ended up buying because the guy i was talking was really pushy. i was told to go and shop around while he waited on the line and i wouldn't find a cheaper deal. when i switched off i found a cheaper deal. dont believe everything they say. also i was told the price was for a deluxe room and all the rooms are deluxe in that hotel i picked. it was the last time i used teletext.
