Please please never book with these robbing scumbags they cancelled my holiday through COVID and said I would have a full refund but never had it back. They don't pick up the phone but now I hear they have gone bust.

very poor customer service had to wait for 1 hour to get connected forgot to book flights so i had to pay for.i had already paid when i booked the holiday.the agent i booked with left the company if i hadnt chased up for my booking confirmation i would not have known this.the holiday may have been a little better priced than other companies but believe me it is not worth the stress..avoid i would not recommend. very unhappy traveler

I booked wirh them and had a holiday to Egypt last Feb. All went smooth had a good deal. Staff were helpful. So just decided to book with them again and there is a good deal. After thinking about whether to go away or not I though I would go back on jus now and book it. Their website isn't working now. I just looked at all their reviews lately and don't look good. They never used to be like this. Wonder what's happened and if they have decided to rip everyone off now and close down because of covid and noone booking over the last year

I have had many successful holidays with Teletext. I've been able to overlook the increase in price when you call up to book because of the made up "live price", as it still ends up cheaper than many other holiday companies. I've had 5 great holidays to Spain and one to Italy and I always swore I would never use another holiday company other than Teletext. But with how they have handled a refund of a holiday I was meant to have in April 2020 I am very very hesitant to use them again. When the going gets tough they not only haven't been reliable, they have lied and evaded me and countless others. I desperately need my money back. This is the last time they shall see money from me sadly.

I booked a flight and hotel for 16 people to Kos for my wedding. We were due to get married in June but got postponed to September because of covid. Six weeks prior to us traveling I found out that the hotel was not open. I tried to contact teletext ie emails, phone calls but to no avail. No response from them. In desperation I had no option but to find a hotel that could accommodate our party and pay yet again. On the way to the airport I got a phone call from teletext to say the hotel was not open and they had found us another hotel. I told the lady on the phone due to being unable to contact them I had no choice than to find an hotel for ourselves. She was very understanding as I explained that we were on the train going to the airport. And had not heard from teletext re Hotel closure. Now we are trying to get our money back for hotel. They said we are not entitled to a refund because they found an alternate hotel.. They owe us an apology for all the stress and uncertainty, for what should have been a memorable occasion. Plus a refund for the hotel.

Worst travel company I have ever dealt with, we are due to fly out 31/08/2020, due to the 14 day isolating on return to the uk , we can’t possibly go as my husband as a operation booked for 11/09/2020 I can’t have the time off work, I have rang them on numerous times only to get through to be cut off again , over 40 pounds in calls , I have emailed time after time, and still nothing, it’s 18 days till we are surpose to travel, I was going to transfer my holiday to another date but because of the disgusting manner of which they treat their customers I now want a full refund and will never book with them again, and if there is anybody out there who will have the desency to call me back and not cut my call off after a few seconds my confirmation no is TT782540,

Paid deposit for our holiday beginning of March , final payment was due on 1/06/20 as we was due to fly in the 17/06/20, after holiday been cancelled due to coronavirus at the end of May they still took the final payment on the 1/06//20 from my debit card , I have rung emailed and had live chat but to no avail , I am now in the process of seeking legal advice . I have been trying to ring all day no reply I have found out jet2 are not travelling on 16th june this year and when I booked it it is jet2 holiday u booked for me please reply my ref is TT762785

I have booked a holiday to Dubai on the 6 th may and despite the ukfco saying to not travel abroad , teletext holidays has not provided me with a refund . I do not want to be stuck abroad and hence best we cancel .

The most frustrating part of booking a holiday with Teletext holidays is the fact that you never ever advertise the correct price of your holidays. Surely, in this day and age, a live pricing system for your packages should be simple enough to implement?! Please sort your website out!;

Disappointed that the holiday was not available at the price advertised. It took over 50 minutes on the phone to book the holiday although the customer service was good it was very time consuming.

5 stars for An excellent choice of holidays, easy searching and a really hard working booking team, but only 2 stars for pricing, two holidays booked, and both times I paid a lot more than the website stated due to flights going up.

Sales advisor lovely, still don't like the fact you always pay a third more then advertised price, still cheap holidays have used them before with no problems.
