“I would have liked to seen more transparency with listings. I ultimately bought the Cartier Tank Anglaise but had to dive alot deeper into the details to get enough information, before making a decision. There was also a conflict using Chrono24's escrow service or buying direct from the 1916 Company. I was steered away from using Chrono24's escrow service to buy direct for, yet to be explained reasons.? Ultimately I was satisifed with the transaction sans some minor details.”

“My overall experience has been good with 1916 Company. The Cartier Love bracelet I purchased is in excellent shape. The savings on such a purchase even though box and papers were not included was worth it. I do wish a better screw driver had been included instead of a Home Depot type Allen wrench. I will for sure use their services again.”

“I found my watch online and had communication with “Lucas. When I decided to actually purchase a watch I would only work with someone in person as it was a ten thousand dollar down payment to get it sent to me. I then was contacted by Kohn Burba from 1916 in Cherry Creek shopping mall in Denver. I was favorably impressed with Johnknowledge and demeanor. I deposited the required sum of money and waited for the timepiece to arrive at Cherry Creek store. Everything from the indoor parking to the clean mall and the appearance of the 1916 store is way better than most. There was a bit of a delay for the watch to arrive but as John pointed out upon our first meeting, it was worth it to get exactly what I wanted. I will recommend 1916 to other’s and John Burba to work with.”

“.our store experience was most satisfying. Staff very helpful and courteous. Having the opportunity to use the watch for over a month has been good, not great. I wish that having a self winding watch I didn't need to wind it 2-3 times per week and rest the time each time. I now wind it every two days regardless. Self winding not really. Other self winding watches never had a issue with them.”

“I had a great experience with one of the newer associates a the new 1916 location in Denver. I had stopped into the same store a week or so before and was terribly disapointed with the arrogance of the senior staffer in the Rolex department.”
