“Just purchased the most recent of many timepieces from 1916. As always, the transaction was seamless and easy; the watch was as described and perfect, and the whole experience was one I'd highly recommend. “Joshua greeted us and guided us perfectly through our very first purchase of a luxury time piece. He is friendly and relaxed and knows his product extremely well. Extremely poised and well mannered for a young gentleman. When we brought our son in to receive the watch, which is his college graduation present, Joshua was able to very effectively communicate with him and highlight the intricaciesof this particular watch. Our son went from being excited about receiving a Rolex to completely ecstatic. Because of Joshua, I am sure our family will be acquiring additional time pieces from the 1916 company four years to come!”

“Ryan Huynh was my salesperson and he was terrific... patient, kind and extremely knowledgable. The store is beautiful and the selection is impressive, but having great salespeople is what really makes the experience exceptional. “I was looking for a Breitling Navitimer for my wife for a gift. I inquired about it and Max responded quickly. I explained my situation and he took great care of me. They overnighted the watch and it made it on time for her event. They even gift wrapped it for me! Thanks Max and 1916 for coming through and making me look good!”

“I’ve been researching watches the last few months and decided to the plunge. I made an appointment via the website and connected with Roey Del Rio at the Newark, DE store. I was interested in an IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph and although it wasn’t available in the store at the time, Roey arranged for it to be transferred from another location. When it arrived a couple of days later she contacted me to setup a time to come in. She also booked me a Rolex appointment to coincide with my visit. I came in yesterday and was warmly greeted by Roey. I had the pleasure the register interest in a couple Rolex’s with Victoria Ingram. Then Roey and I sat down to the look at the IWC. After the purchase we worked our way through the display cases to start dreaming about my next watch. Roey is a pleasure to work with. She’s bubbly and energetic with a passion for watches. I’ve been to a few ADs in search of one to earn my business. They can be stuffy and unresponsive (try getting an email response from Bucherer). I’m pleased to have found 1918 and Roey and look forward to working together in the future—perhaps as soon as the new Tudor Black Bay in all ceramic is available!”

“Working with Lucas at The 1916 Company was an outstanding experience from start to finish. After submitting an inquiry through their website and being assigned to Lucas, he called me almost immediately to introduce himself, walk through the process, and answer all of my open questions. Once I decided to move forward, the level of service became truly white glove. Every concern I had was addressed professionally and promptly, and Lucas remained extremely responsive throughout the entire process. Since this was my first online watch purchase, I was hesitant at first, but he made the experience seamless and put me completely at ease. Because of the exceptional service and professionalism I received, The 1916 Company will be my main choice when purchasing a watch online. I texted her to make a change to one of my watches and 2 days later she messages me that a watch was available.
