“1916’s customer service and willingness to ensure all customers have the best experience when buying a watch is second to none. I was lucky enough to be paired up with Josh K., a sales person who is very personable and knowledgeable on all watches being sold. “Couldn’t have had a better experience, Vanessa and Fernando were great. Started my visit with an appointment at Rolex to share more about the next targets for my collection, then met Vanessa who brought to the store the watch I was looking for (JLC reverse duoface small seconds). She walked me thru all details, explained everything about the watch. I love my new acquisition, and have been wearing it since then. Looked at some pre owned, they had a nice selection (maybe next time?!) looking forward to visiting them again very soon :)”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Eddie Colon to purchase my first Patek Philippe. I had been hopeful to procure this watch since its release, through good fortune Eddie responded that it was available at the Philadelphia store. Purchasing a timepiece from the "Holy Trinity" is a momentous milestone and the purchase experience at the 1916 Company was very satisfying. Eddie Colon's approachability, kindness, and deep knowledge truly embody the standard of excellence expected at this level of horology. Enjoying a thorough explanation of the watch's complications over a glass of champagne made the moment feel truly special and celebratory. Building a genuine relationship with my advisor, Eddie, has ensured my watch-collecting journey has started on the absolute right foot.”

“I had the pleasure of working with August (and briefly, C’Q) to acquire my Moritz Grossmann. August is wonderful and easy to deal with. He’s kind, attentive, and diligent—qualities that make for an excellent salesperson. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and what my expectations were—all the while being supremely available to chat. I cannot recommend him enough! As for the watch, I’m pretty happy with it. It’s in overall good condition—a couple scratches that I’d liked to have known about just a bit better, but they don’t really impede enjoyment of the watch. As it arrived as a full set, it’s got all the little bits and pieces that make for a nice total package. Grossmann is of course excellent at decoration and function; this is no exception. I can’t complain about much, however, as the price 1916 set was actually quite fair, all things considered. August also included a handwritten card, which is a simple but very nice touch, as it makes it feel all the more personal. Overall, I’m delighted with the process from start to end and looking forward to enjoying this watch for a long while. Thank you August for your excellent work.”
