“I recently had the pleasure of taking my driving lessons at AA Driving School, and I can't say enough about the exceptional experience I had. My driving instructor, Andrew Carrick was nothing short of amazing. He made me feel comfortable behind the wheel from the very first lesson and was incredibly patient and understanding. Andrew tailored each lesson to my individual needs, helping me build confidence and skill at my own pace. I always felt that he genuinely cared about my progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance that made a big impact. The lessons were always well-structured, and the clear, positive communication made learning easy and enjoyable. What really stood out to me was how Andrew made sure I felt prepared for every aspect of the test—not just the driving skills, but also the mindset needed to stay calm and focused. “I had Martin as my instructor and he is such a great instructor and very easy to talk to. I had a total of 8 lessons with him before my test date and I passed 1st time. He explains absolutely everything with you and gives you the easiest and most effective tips to help you pass. I couldn’t fault him in any way shape of form so if your lucky to get him as your instructor then you are in safe hands.”

“I booked refresher lessons through the AA driving school, having not driven for some time. My instructor Jesuthasan Rajkumar (Raj) did a great job of boosting my confidence and gave lots of helpful advice to make me a better driver. We covered a lot over just two lessons including motorways, parking and town driving. I would highly recommend a refresher course with Raj for anyone who wants to improve their driving.”

“My instructor Andy Carrick was amazing, he was super calm and gentle but still honest and assertive when needed. He made learning to drive not only easy but enjoyable too, which was a relief to me and my parents as I was so anxious to start driving. He helped me confidently pass my driving test with zero faults, and would recommend him to anyone looking for an instructor.”

“I had the pleasure of being Faizan Mirza’s very first student after he joined AA, and I’m proud to say that I passed my driving test on the first attempt with only 5 minors! 🎉 Faizan is an incredibly patient, calm, and supportive instructor who quickly identified and helped me correct my mistakes — all within just five lessons! His clear guidance and confidence-building approach made learning to drive both enjoyable and stress-free. Even though he had only recently joined AA, his professionalism and teaching skills were truly impressive. “My instructor was Steven Entwistle in the Manchester area and he is an extremely professional and helpful driving instructor. He made me feel more confident at driving and each lesson felt so quick as he was so friendly and we had so much to talk about. I would 100% recommend him to people and hopefully many instructors would be like him. Thanks to him, my driving experience was better than I could have ever imagined.”
