“I feel like the AA driving school helped me massively to become a confident driver. My instructor remained calm during our lessons which made me feel comfortable. This meant that I could work to the best of my ability and ensured that I got the most out of each lesson.”

“BRIGHTON INSTRUCTOR: TONY (ANTHONY NEWINGTON) IS THE BEST! ⭐ Tony got me test ready in 6 lessons (12 hours). I have never driven before, let alone sat in the driver’s seat of a car. Tony is the best instructor (even teacher) at teaching people how to drive! His methods of explaining how to parallel park, how to forward bay park, reverse bay park, how to leave roundabouts correctly, which lane to use at roundabouts, is absolutely fantastic! He makes the whole idea of driving seem simple and not scary as I thought it would be. His methods like explaining the 12 o clock method for roundabouts, the pizza slice method for parallel parking, the 45 degree angle for reverse parking in a bay between two cars are honestly IMPOSSIBLE to not understand. His methods of teaching are so simple and easy to get in your head that even a 10 year old could learn how to drive with him. Honestly! For driving tests, he is amazing at building confidence and making you have little to no nerves whatsoever, he always told me to “on the test, drive how you would on a lesson, and look at it as a friend telling you where to go.” That advice alone helped calm my nerves down and pass with only 2 minors! Tony is also a very kind, caring and wholesome guy with a great sense of humour! I wish he was my teacher for maths and all the other subjects I failed at school haha. Overall, every single lesson you have with him, you just get better. The more time you spend with him, the better driver you’ll be. He also makes every mistake easy to fix and easy to avoid. He gives you a clear cut through plan on how to not make that mistake happen again, and he is not strict like secondary school teachers, he is very kind on the mistakes you made, and how to do better next time. He is also very chatty and you can speak for hours with him while driving, honestly he is just the best driving instructor and teacher I ever had. Really wished I had him for my maths in school ha. He broke down the whole big scary concept of ‘driving’ as I once thought it was, into easy to follow and understand baby steps. Highly recommend, Tony is the kindest and the best!”

I was so nervous and have been putting it off for years, but he made me feel so at ease from the start and never made me feel rushed or pressured. “Great. I had Junaid and he was so helpful and calming. I enjoyed his classes and he would explain everything in a calm nice manner. He made me feel comfortable and was patient and would make everything easier to understand. Couldn’t recommend enough :)”

“I had four intense driving lessons with Ahmad Zia Kohistani before my test. He makes sure you master each technique properly. His firm teaching style means you’ll repeat any mistake until you get it right – no shortcuts. He pushed me to give my best every time, and that made all the difference and I have passed my test! With AA I think your experience is dependant on the drive you get.”

“I had roughly 26 hours of lessons with Ricco Santiago in York. He took from pretty much a complete beginner to passing my test! We always filled the entire lesson with driving, he was flexible and accommodating. I would highly, highly recommend to anyone!”

“Would absolutely recommend michael slavtchev as a driving instructor!! Very patient, reassuring and calming as a tutor. Took my test at hendon and passed 1st time with only 1 minor (my fault for clipping a curb). Great value for money aswell especially if you book in bulk!”

“Best and nicest driving instructor I’ve ever had, Andy Carrick was my instructor and I could t recommend him more. I’ve had 3 different instructors in the past and he knew what he was doing the most, from good knowledge to amazing technique he definitely helped me develop into the driver I am now, thank you so much Andy :)”

“I have taken my driving lessons from instructor "Junaid Afzal". The more I will write about his skills as a instructor won't be enough to express my gratitude. As a instructor he is sharp, well organized, a great teacher and motivator. He helped me to correct all tiny mistakes, how to remove fear and convert them into strength, he knew very well where i was lacking behind. If he was not there, I don't think I could have a pass certificate today! Thank you Junaid and AA driving school. Keep up doing the good job👍 I recommen " Junaid Afzal" to all the learners out there who struggling with your driving skills.”

“It is only thanks to Atiqa Javid that I can drive today! I cannot recommend Atiqa as a driving instructor highly enough! From my very first lesson, it was clear that I’d found a driving instructor that I can fully trust and rely on. Atiqa has a confident but calm and reassuring manner. No matter how many questions I asked - or how many mistakes I made - she was always patient and supportive that helped build my confidence as a driver. Atiqa carefully broke down each concept, provided clear explanations and practical tips that instantly made tricky manoeuvres feel manageable. She also supplemented our driving lessons by sharing links to online resources which I watched at home and could then discuss any unclear points during the lesson. Equally outstanding is Atiqa’s personalised approach. Every lesson was tailored to my needs and abilities: if I needed extra practice on roundabouts, that’s what we did; if I grasped a topic quickly, we moved on to build momentum. This flexible, student-centred approach not only accelerated my progress but also made each lesson truly enjoyable and stress-free. I also greatly appreciate it that Atiqa didn’t just teach me the skills necessary to pass the driving test in Morden, but also shared numerous practical tips and taught me some additional maneuvers that are so useful for driving on busy London roads.
