“Having always been a reluctant driver, and after many years without driving at all, I booked a series of refresher lessons with the AA Driving School's Andy Carrick. He has been brilliant. Friendly, calm, encouraging, and extremely patient, he has helped me to rebuild my rather rusty driving skills and given a nervous driver more confidence behind the wheel. I wholeheartedly recommend him.”

“I was instructed by Mr. Richard Bannister and passed my driving test on the first attempt with only two minors. He is an excellent instructor who helped me build my confidence and improve my driving skills. He was always supportive, patient, and encouraging throughout my lessons. It was a pleasure learning with him, and I would highly recommend him to anyone preparing for their driving test.”

“JESUTHASAN RAJKUMAR ( RAJ ) was a great instructor, I’ve had previous driving attempts with other instructors and the difference in the way I was taught is clear. I was dedicated to passing after a long break of driving and raj was able to teach me both the theory side of driving as well as practical. With this was able to pass in 2 months. If you’re thinking of booking with AA I HIGHLY recommend asking for raj, you won’t regret it. Thank you again raj for your support and motivation.”

“Andy Carrick helped me the whole time through my driving and I wouldn’t ask for anyone else. He was always supportive and calm which improved my time learning. In the end, I passed with 1 minor thanks to Andy’s teaching.”

“My driving instructor Merita took me a week before my test gave me 3 lessons and got me a pass with only 3 minors. She is the most calm and composed instructor I have ever met without extortionate rates. She taught me everything about the test and went over small key details that other instructors would only gloss over, without her I wouldn't have passed and I can only offer my highest of recommendations to her for anyone that's looking for a good fairly priced instructor.”

“Excellent instructors and amazing lessons, all easily booked and available! My instructor, Ahmad Zia Kohistani was an amazing instructor, teaching me how to drive very well. Every maneuver was explained in detail with tips and tricks to make sure that I know exactly how to do them. A great instructor and amazing lessons, would definitely love to have lessons with him again! Passed my driving test with no problems!”

“Excellent instructor — highly recommended! I’m so happy to share that I’ve just passed my driving test, and I couldn’t have done it without my instructor [Name fredua ]. He was truly outstanding — very professional, knowledgeable, and taught me so much more than just what was needed for the test. He always took the time to explain things clearly and even gave extra time during lessons whenever I needed it, never rushing me. His patience and support helped me build my confidence completely. I’m still in disbelief that I’ve passed, and I owe so much of that success to his great teaching. I would highly recommend him and the AA Driving School to anyone looking to learn to drive.”

“I passed my driving test at Morden Test Centre with Atiqa and would definitely recommend her! I had bad experience with a previous driving instructor, so I was quite nervous and lacked confidence when I started lessons with her. She was really patient, supportive, and understanding from day one, which helped me build my confidence back up. She explains things really well and always makes sure you understand what you’re doing and why. I never felt rushed or judged, even when I made mistakes. In the run-up to my test, she was especially encouraging and helped me stay calm and focused. One thing I really appreciated was that she shared helpful resources and materials outside of lessons, so I could keep learning and improving in my own time. Thanks to her, I passed my test at Morden. If you’re looking for a friendly, patient instructor who genuinely wants you to do well, I’d definitely recommend Atiqa.”

“I’ve went for lessons with other driving schools but my driving instructor (Bruce Izadi) with the aa was one of the best I’ve had often doubted myself but he gave me the confidence to pass first try with 1 driving fault couldn’t of asked for anyone better will for sure recommend him to my friends.”

“I cannot thank my instructor, Jesuthasan Rajkumar (Raj), enough! Before starting with Raj, I took lessons with another instructor, but I wasn't making the progress I needed and felt stuck. Everything changed when I came to Raj. He patiently identified and corrected all of my bad habits and mistakes. What sets him apart is that he doesn't just prepare you to pass a test ,he teaches you how to truly understand the road. Thanks to his excellent guidance, I successfully passed my exam at the West Wickham test centre! I can now drive anywhere with absolute confidence and zero hesitation. If you want an instructor who actually helps you become a skilled, independent driver, look no further than Raj!”

“I passed first time with 0 minors at Portsmouth test centre yesterday and my instructor Kate Traill was lovely! She was super friendly, professional and helpful! She was really patient and really helped build my confidence on the road. She teaches in a way that’s personalised to you and understands everyone learns in different ways which helped me immensely. Very good at communicating and would always let me know if she was running slightly late and never missed a lesson. She also helped me book lessons at a time that suited me best and if I couldn’t made our usual time slot every week, she would find a work around that suited us both which I appreciated! Would highly recommend if you’re looking to learn in the Portsmouth area!!”
