“The AA Driving School made me happy by giving me the confidence and skills I needed to pass my practical test. My instructor, Ahmad Zia Kohistani, was patient, supportive, and explained everything clearly. He always made me feel calm and comfortable during lessons, which really helped me improve my driving. His teaching style was professional and encouraging, and he helped me build confidence on the road. I’m very grateful for all his help and would highly recommend him and The AA Driving School to anyone learning to drive.”

“Had about 9 lessons with James Lewitt, and he’s an absolute STAR!!! So patient, so polite and VERY VERY knowledgeable. I had one instructor before with who I failed 2 tests, had less lessons with James and smashed my test with only 3 minors!!! Would 100000% recommend the man, a 10/10 instructor.”

“I passed my driving test thanks to Ziba, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. From the very beginning she was patient, supportive, and really helped build my confidence behind the wheel. She explains everything clearly and makes sure you fully understand, rather than just memorising routes. Even when I was nervous, she stayed calm and reassuring, which made a massive difference. Her teaching style is very structured but also relaxed, so you never feel pressured. Ziba always gave honest feedback and focused on the areas I needed to improve, which is exactly what helped me pass. She also prepared me really well for the test routes and what to expect on the day, so nothing felt unfamiliar. I’d highly recommend her to anyone learning to drive, especially if you’re someone who gets nervous,she really knows how to bring out your confidence and get you test-ready. “If you are looking for a driving instructor who genuinely cares about making you a 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 driver rather than just helping you pass a test, Farideh is the one. It has been a sincere honour and a great pleasure to be her student. I started with absolutely zero experience, and after lessons with her, I felt completely prepared. Farideh is incredibly patient and kind, not just to her students but to everyone on the road. She never just told me what I did wrong; she took the time to explain the "why" behind my faults, which helped me build real confidence behind the wheel. Greenford is known for being one of the most challenging test centres in West London, but thanks to Farideh’s expert guidance, I passed on my very 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘆 with only 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗿 fault! She was always punctual, professional, and such a lovely person to learn from. I cannot thank her enough for her help. If you want to be a safe driver for life, I highly recommend Farideh!”

“Ahmad Zia Kohistani is an outstanding driving instructor who played a key role in helping me pass my driving test on the first attempt. His teaching style is calm, clear, and very supportive, which made a huge difference in building my confidence behind the wheel. One of the most valuable things he taught me was how to properly control my speed in different driving situations. He was patient and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand and apply. Coming from a background of driving abroad, I found adjusting to driving on the left side of the road quite challenging at first. However, Ahmad helped me effectively transfer my existing driving knowledge and adapt it safely to UK roads. He is professional, reliable, and genuinely committed to his students’ success. I would highly recommend Ahmad to anyone looking for a skilled and encouraging driving instructor.”

“I had a fantastic experience learning with Kathleen (Katie) Philipson. Having held a South African licence for over 20 years, I didn’t need to learn from scratch, but I was looking for some lessons to build my confidence driving on UK roads and prepare for my test. Thanks to her guidance and support, I passed my test today! I would highly recommend Katie to anyone - whether you are a complete beginner or just need a confidence boost like I did!”

“I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with AA Driving School, and I can’t recommend my instructor, Jesuthasan Rajkumar (Raj), highly enough. From the very first lesson, Raj was professional, patient, and incredibly supportive. “I learned to drive with Atiqa Javid after previously trying to learn with two different instructors. I cannot believe how quickly I was able to pass first time (three months of lessons) with so few minors under her teaching! She is a very patient and dedicated instructor who is well suited to learners lacking confidence - she always remembered which areas I struggled with in each lesson and encouraged me to build my confidence with these tricky aspects of driving, whilst making sure that I was not overwhelmed. I cannot recommend Atiqa enough, thank you for everything that you do!”

“I had an amazing experience learning to drive with my instructor, Ahmad Zia Kohistani. He was incredibly supportive, and always made me feel at ease, even when I was nervous. Every lesson was well-structured and tailored to help me improve quickly while building my confidence on the road. What really stood out was his ability to explain things clearly and calmly, which made a huge difference in my learning. He was always punctual, professional, and genuinely cared about my progress. In particular, he made sure that during my lessons we focussed on my weakness and worked on them together until I was confident. “Just passed my driving test thanks to my brilliant driving instructor Kelly! She’s been so supportive, reassuring, patient and given clear instructions throughout. My lessons were well structured and Kelly was happy to go through any steps as many times as I needed. I often get very nervous in test conditions but Kelly’s support meant I went into my test feeling calm and confident.”

“I had an excellent experience with Shahid Razzaq from AA. After trying a few others who had great reviews, I didn’t feel like I was getting the focused support I needed. In some cases, lessons were interrupted or not fully dedicated to my learning, which made it harder to progress. This instructor was completely different. Every lesson was structured, focused, and tailored to help me improve. They were patient, clear in their explanations, and made sure I understood everything step by step. What stood out most was how they helped build my confidence and kept me calm leading up to my test. Thanks to their support and dedication, I passed successfully. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and genuinely supportive instructor.”
