“I drove over to the Audiobarn from Kent. Jack made me feel welcome and set out a few headphones for me to consider as we had agreed previously over the phone. After rearranging the furniture to suit and showing me the controls he left me to listen to the music I brought with me - no pressure to purchase any model over any other but offered plenty of advice if I asked for it.”

“I first met jack back in August 2015 when I was looking to upgrade my then Naim system. The entire experience was a breath of fresh air compared to some other dealer demos. It was a combination of the wonderful location & premises, demonstration facilities, great tea & biscuits! but more importantly, Jacks unpressured professional attitude and very sound unbiased advice. Unfortunately, on that occasion I didn’t move forward with an upgrade, but walked away knowing I would be back to see jack when the time was right, despite a two and half hour minimum drive time from Wiltshire. I think that says a lot! That time arrived in late 2016 when I was contemplating the upgrade of my ATC SCM40’s to the active version. Jack kindly set up the demonstration with exactly my system (Naim NAC-N 272, XPS, Chord 2Qute, NAP 250DR, ATC SCM40) As a result of the demonstration with a number of different options suggested by Jack, my initial intention of moving to the active 40’s and selling the passives + NAP 250DR changed radically. The net result is I now have the active 40’s in black ash which look understated but fabulous, along with a Chord Hugo TT. A very simple and elegant 2 box system. I can say without hesitation or exaggeration, that I have never enjoyed listening to music more than I do now. I sit down with a cold beer in the evening and despite having the system in situ for some 6-weeks, I’m still blown away by what I’m hearing from very familiar recordings. In conclusion – The combination of ATC SCM40A’s and Chord Hugo TT is stunning. Add to this the Audio Barn experience and service, I’m one very happy music lover.”

Jack stocks an interesting product range and I have been able to arrange home demo's and equipment loans to help hear equipment in my own environment. Jack socks new products and brands as well as established manufacturers and the location and easy parking are a great asset.”

“The Audiobarn team not only have an awesome space, but they genuinely love high-end audio and helping their customers find the best system for their budget. Jack has especially been a star every time I've visited or contacted them. I've purchased both Larsen and Audio Note through him and couldn't be happier. Forget the high street shops – take a trip to see these guys.”

“AUDEZE , are still coming to Life they sound phenomenal , and I'm sure they're getting better with time , i'm still listening to them on a very basic amp which needs upgrading , you know I stream my music so quality Can verey but sumetimes they sound so good and entertaining they actually make me laugh, I love listening to the detail and I catch myself just listening to different instruments and not the music , i'm still getting used to them they are vastly entertaining . Thanks Jack .”

“I was having difficulty setting up an NAC272 with it's menus within menus etc.( I'm only moderately computer literate.) One five minute phone call and all became clear; it works beautifully.”

“Very pleased with the service from Audiobarn. As I live nearby Jack delivered personally the Rega Fono Mini A2D I had ordered and took away my old Planar 3 turntable to check over; tonearm needed rewiring which was done by Rega and was returned to me within a couple of weeks by Jack, all at a very reasonable cost. Combination of turntable and Fono Mini sounds excellent. Very impressed with the service.”

“I wanted to find a dealer who could let me hear the ATC SMC19 loudspeakers. Jack at the Audiobarn not only stocked them but allowed me to try a pair at home for a while which was what I really wanted to check how they worked with the rest of my system and listening room. I kept them. Jack was really helpful and knows his stuff. Most importantly he is passionate about what he does but without an agenda. Highly recommended.”

“This was the bargain of my shopping trip as it was a surprise how good it was for the entry phonostage compared to my a39 built in one. On another trip i had to work through more options at the Audiobarn and had to spend a fair bit more to get a significant improvement on this great budget phonostage”

“Over the years Ive visited many hifi shops and the Audiobarn has to be my favourite.Top notch equipment and a beautiful location make this a great place to audition and buy hifi. Jack loaned me a chord 2 qute to try at home for a month without hassling me once.I went on to part exchange an aging dac for the chord.The whole experience at the Audiobarn is exceptional.”
