“Good selection of wines to try and buy”

“Ordered goods online and they are ready for collection when you arrive. Then we only need to make our selections of new wines to try - where we just by a couple of each as a taster. Only disappointment was that you no longer have LA RoCHE BRUT and we don't enjoy the sweeter version. Keep the prices competitive and you will be sure that we will remain loyal customers.”

“On arrival at the warehouse my order was ready and waiting however, a few items were not on the trolley. This was swiftly corrected in time for a speedy departure.”

“Brilliant idea! We placed our order for pick up and there it was waiting ofr us when we arrived and our eurotunnel ticket paid for to boot! Wonderful shall definitely shop there again - thank you to the staff who took great care of us from initial questions on the phone to collection.”

“Good service, friendly staff, good prices and free crossing, only gripe is that we buy enough for about 4-5 months we find a great wine that we like and when we next return as often as not they do not have it.”

“The process of ordering online and having my Eurotunnel booked on my behalf was great , then having my order ready when I arrived was lovely , the staff are friendly and helpful and we will defiantly be back soon , Thank you all at Calias Wines”

“Easy to order online, and reassuring that you can pay on collection. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Fairly easy to find and close to crossing points to UK.”

“Staff were very helpful, I booked an overnight chunnel crossing and said I would collect on Tuesday, but collected the following day, all fine. Store is clean and well So me of the price comparisons with the UK are 'dubious' as I could not find the same wine, but overall good value. However, be careful of the very cheap wines, there are just that!”

“Being able to pre-order online is very helpful. Despite the Christmas rush the staff were coping competently and cheerfully as usual. One small problem was that i was given the impression that Sterling cheques are encouraged at the till and when i presented my cheque the staff member immediately called a Credit Card merchant's number for authorisation. This held up the queue and no code was obtained. Eventually i had to use a Credit Card. I called my bank that evening and was told that Cheques no longer need a guarantee card nor authorisation as long as there are funds in the account to cover the amount. A lesson to be learnt I think!”
