“Great to get a free day trip with Eurotunnel, confirmed very quickly. Our order was ready to pick up, all in all a good deal all round. Tasting bar could have been easier to operate.”

“Helpful friendly staff, some good deals. Also they have a large selection of wines available for tasting, that said a number of the tasting bottles were empty (although I expect the staff would have been happy to open another if requested)”

“The champagne and Rioja were good value but, as first time customers, we did not take cash and paid by credit card (as we generally do with all our shopping). Unfortunately paying by card meant we had to pay at the €uro price which, from memory, suffered from an uncompetitive exchange rate of 1.20, meaning we bought less than would otherwise have been the case. Still fair prices but not as good as expected.”

“Very easy to deal with. Many of the staff are British or Irish and the French staff speak good English. They offer very good deals; quite a bit seems to be bin ends and special purchases so you have to get in whilst you can. I like the fact that they have a large wine tasting area (park your mother there whilst shopping and she'll be as Happy as Larry when you collect her and bundle her back into your car). We visit Calais Wine about 5-6 times a year and they never let us down. Did I mention the great prices?”

“The wine I ordered was all there waiting for me for collection. Checking out was straightforward too. I also had some good advice on choosing some suitable wine in substitution for one which I purchase regularly and that was out of stock.”

“We get to see all the wines in their own Countries, we are allowed to try many wines and the prices are excellent. We save £3 or more for each bottle of wine. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I am always happy to go to France to look at the wine and have recommended to my family and friends.”
