“Great choice and a clean, tidy and well laid out store. Pre-ordering can make all the difference to your shop as it minimises the possibility of your requirement being out of stock. I find this particularly with English beer. The only note of caution is that, as everything is priced in sterling and all comparisons are with UK prices, you might miss out on some good bargains in the French hypermarkets.”

“I have been day shopping in Calais for many years and found you when I could no longer deal with the rudeness of the staff at Majestic. I normally buy champagne, a case or two of better quality wine, normally Rhone, and a good deal of £3/4 wine for everyday drinking. In the last section I am increasingly impressed by Argentine Malbec. Your shop meets all my needs and I congratulate you. With thanks Chris Willis”

“My daughter is getting married in May this year and we have visited your store twice to collect our chosen wedding wines. On each visit we were delighted with the quick efficient way our orders were processed. The tasting was of great help in our eventual selection and the assistance from the staff on duty was excellent, as was their product knowledge. I still have to gather a few more wines and will definitely be visiting Calais wine store in the near future. Thanks once again for the great service and competitive prices.”

“I was on the last minute collecting my order as I had to get back to the tunnel to make my allotted train time. I told the guys and they quickly found my order , checked it all and I was on my way with a car full of wine. Pity I left myself so short of time as I probably would have bought more. Still I guess £900 worth of wine is enough to be going on with. Will be back later in the year for a long weekend in France and to fill up from Calais Wine Superstore. The country side outside of Calais is something not to be missed.”

“Excellent service from start to finish. We came over to stock up for our wedding and we are thrilled with the savings. One thing I would recommend is that they improve their payment system to allow uk card payment in store but using a uk website.”

“I requested a free Eurotunnel crossing from Calais Wine Superstore. We received confirmation the next day, but unfortunately for the wrong date. I emailed the store and we received confirmation of the amended booking within a couple of hours. We always shop at the store on our way into France and on our way home, and make the occasional day trip for shopping. The staff are always friendly, helpful and efficient. We have no hesitation in recommending Calais Wine Superstore.”

Staff very helpful and enthusiastic Our total savings more than paid for our trip If your intending to visit Calais and want to collect good quality wine pre book on the website spend over £250 which is easier than you think and the CWW pay for the crossing. How good is that,”

“I believe it is a waste of your time and mine to pre-select wine to get the "free trip" to Calais. On all occasions I have changed the order due to tasting when i get there , new offers etc. So i suggest there should be an option to select or not as you take our cc details anyways just in case we do not turn up. Those in a hurry or with limited time should be told to pre-order.”

“From on-line ordering to catching the euro-tunnel train and picking up your delivery from the store, it's a doddle!! Everything is well organised for you from start to finish, making it a memorable day out with massive savings on UK wine prices (we spent just over £300 and saved well over £900) without overloading the car.”

“Having been there since they opened, we go regularly and have never had a problem, the wines are always excellent, only once did we have a problem of a broken bottle in a case but after a quick email it was soon rectified on our next visit. This is the absolute best wine shop in Calais and surrounding area.”
