“We have been visiting Calais Wine Superstore for some time now. They cannot be beaten for range of wines and certainly not for price, especially if you buy enough to also get a free ferry or tunnel crossing. Their 3 for £6 deals make enjoying your favourite every day tipple almost as cheap as bottled water - but with far more taste. Their other offers are unbeatable - we've checked out the rest - and these guys are the tops. As very long time booze croozers - doing the French supermarkets in the old days - then Tesco when they were there - this is the best ever. We are in Calais for just over an hour. Order on line, get there - it's all loaded on a pallet, choose a few extras, pay in sterling so you know exactly what it costs, load up the car, home in Essex by 2pm and start enjoying. Cannot be beaten. Great products, great team, great prices, great service.”

“The best wine store for British visitors to Calais. We've now been going every year for the last 5 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. The selection is great, the staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are second to none. Would highly recommend a visit.”

“must say when calais wine,said they are moving to new premises, what a shock i got it was the same building that i uesed when i was a lot younger, i remember buying,( back then ) bishops finger 50p a Bootle , OUR TIMES CHANGE the building now holds a very good tasting airer, lots of different wines, like me a" driver" they thought ok lets put in a coffee machine , for the poor driver , so he does not fill out of it , well done calais wine team , i say that because you are a team that looks after your customers, most in-portent value for money for the wines&beer, i love coming over to see you all , OK IM NOT TELLING THE TRUTH, ITS THE GOOD WINE FOR LESS MONEY,”

“A truly magnificent wine warehouse with a boutique feel.staff are knowledgable and keen to assist .there is a tasting room so that many of the wines on offer can be tried. Always great bargains to had. A veritable gem in the wine warehouse valley of Calais”

“Took advantage of free euro travel, from booking tickets to ordering wine took very little time, all was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. New tasting area was nice, staff very helpful and friendly, if there was something you wanted to try and it wasn't in the tasting area they opened a bottle with no problem. Our 4th visit and will return.”

“The tasting room didn't impress me much, the wines didn't seem chilled enough and some tasted like they had been open too long and not all wines are available to taste, however we were allowed to open bottles that weren't in the tasting room and the savings we made were worth the trip. The journey all ran very smoothly and the try when you get there option was very easy to book. Overall I was happy with the service and would do it again”

We do try to keep a good cross section of the wines we have available in the Tasting Room, and to rotate the stock, but some can be missed sometimes - we will certainly ask our staff to address this issue. Some people like their white wine to be very chilled, some less so because they feel it brings out the flavour more - this is really a matter of preference. “Brilliant ! In every respect.We do it twice a year and save in excess of £1000 on UK prices. The guys and girls are really knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Also the extensive tasting facility is very helpful. Add the fact that if you spend enough they pay the Tunnel cost, you just can't go wrong. Cheers!!”

“I like the fact that you can order in advance and get your crossing paid: the prices and quality are good, as is the range of choice: and that you can pay in sterling. The tasting facilities are good. The free wifi is very useful. The staff are always helpful and efficient. Keep up the good work!”
