“We have been going to Calais Wine Superstore now for over 8 years. Always a great selection of wines to suit all pockets. The free travel offer is great, no need to wait around. Call or email them and they will reserve a ticket for you. I have used both the ferry service and Euro-tunnel. The Euro-tunnel is the way to go. They always have a great selection of tasters, in fact all the wines you want to buy, you can sample. On our last visit they were just completing a new sample room. Can't wait to see what its like. Will be visiting again in a couple of weeks.The staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. No pressure at all from any one trying to sell you something you don't want. Completely relaxed atmosphere. Pay in Stirling or Euros. Why would you want to go any where else? Great place to shop.”

“Excellent as usual and a pleasure. Unfortunately you did not register my purchase to pay for tunnel but was resolved the next day. This is the first time you have got something wrong after numerous visits. Highly recommend and look forward to seeing you soon.”

“If I tell you that they give information quickly , thoroughly and in a friendly way , that should ensure me getting a free bottle of something nice . But the fact is that I have been a customer since they opened and never had cause for issue . To the contrary , I continue to enjoy shopping here , have learned a great deal and bought some remarkable bargains . Most of my purchases are in the middle and middle-upper price ranges for still wines and the various "Bubbles " items -- great selections available . But where I have been surprised is with the tip top quality that is available from budget price still wines . Some of those 6 for £12.00 offers are tremendous .”

“Always found good offers and customer service. Happy if don't have to place pre-order (although always done so). Wouldn't use tasting room as I'm always driving. Interested in extended offer. At present, plan a visit towards Christmas (migrants and strikers permitting!!!)”

“I've used the store for a few years now and have always had excellent value and service. The offers of 3 for £6 are always tempting. The separate tasting room is a small improvement but I always manged to taste most wines anyway in the past. However, there is certainly more room for people. I've always bought the wine first and got the ticket for my next trip. I am not sure if the new idea is a good one as some people may decide not to spend enough to cover the cost of the ticket and this might cause problems. Time will tell. I'll keep coming. Thanks”

“This is a great operation. We use it like clockwork twice a year, pre-ordering everything, It's always ready when we come in to pick it up. The fact they pay for your crossing is icing on the cake.”

“I USED TO TRAVEL TO FRANCE A LOT IN THE PAST AND ALWAYS BOUGHT MY WINE FROM C B & W, HOWEVER I MOVED NORTH TO NORTHAMPTON A FEW YEARS AGO AND THE JOURNEY MAKES IT NO LONGER VIABLE FOR ME TO WINE SHOP IN FRANCE ANYMORE. HOWEVER IN THE PAST I ALWAYS FOUND THE STAFF KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL, AND THE BARGAINS ARE THERE FOR THE TAKING!!! IT ALWAYS WAS THE BEST WINE SHOP IN CALAIS FOR QUALITY AND VALUE.”

“Friendly and helpful staff who do know their wines. I like the selection of the New World wines, which are not always easy to find in French supermarkets. price-wise it is hard to beat calais Wine Superstore.”

“Over the years, we've tried various beer/wine warehouses in and around Calais, but now just go staight here as well as Auchan in Coquelles. With some care and of course depending on personal taste, the 3 bottles for £6 is a real bargain, but then we also splash out on a something more expensive as well. We also fill up the car with St Omer lager which is great value, usually works out around .50p per 50cl can. Also easy to get to with good parking. Recommended. Roger”

“I only ever buy my wine from Calais Wine Superstore. I make 3 + trips a year as its a fun day out, the wine is always good quality and excellent value across a wide range. The free crossings make it worthwhile and with diesel in France much cheaper than the uk, you can fill up and save on that too! Have also used the 72 hour crossing deal and played golf in France as well.”
