“Turn around time super fast so for that top marks. Unfortunately, after repair my warning light errors on my car remained. So it follows my problem was not FRM related. On inquiry I was told my FRM data was scrambled, and therefore warranted repair/reprogamming. I’m a little dissatisfied with the explanation as “scrambled” apparently didn’t cause any other problems with my car. Of course reprogramming may have corrected an error I didn’t know I had. Ah well I guess it’s not going to work out in all cases. Again… hat’s off for fast response time and being available over the phone.”

Hey Brian, Typically the FRM fails due to software-related issues. By '"scrambled" the engineer referred to corrupt data on the FRM which is a typical issue on those units. If you still have errors on the car, send the fault codes to your support ticket and the technician will be able to advise on the best repair steps to follow. I hope this helps. Kind Regards, Ace

“I initially called to ask some questions about getting my frm replaced fully prepared to have to get a new module. After speaking to them over the phone I ended up just going with a diagnostic and it was able to be fixed. They saved me money when the could have charged me to replace the entire unit. They were very polite and informative over the phone and threw email. They responded to my questions quickly and had the repair done much faster than I expected.”

“ECU Pro was very easy to work with and quick to send back my items. I love that the testing fee gets applied to your order total if you need a repair or replacement. It’s nice that they send a detailed explanation of what they did and what they found with your item and also a video showing it working in a vehicle. We will definitely use them again in the future if we need to! Thanks!”

“We knew our Z3 had a problem in the coolant temp sensor circuit. The car would not start and run when on cold starts without help. Is was setting a coolant temp sensor fault We sent it in and they diagnosed the problem and repaired it. We installed the ECU then turned the key on a cold morning and it started and ran as it should!!!!”

“We had an issue with a customer's car in which the car wouldn't start and the steering wheel lock was active. Scanned and found CAS module error. “I almost gave up hope. My BMW 545 couldn’t idle. The throttle body kept flapping open and shut upon ignition. The master BMW mechanic meticulously diagnosed every connection. The last resort was testing the DME. I shipped out the DME, CAS, and key to ECU Pro with the hope of a miracle. ECU Pro promptly tested the DME and found the throttle valve circuit was shorted and couldn’t be repaired. With prompt communication along the way, they located a replacement DME and cloned all the DME programming. We installed the DME and voila the car started and idled just like new. These guys know their stuff. Thank you ECU Pro!”
