“The fitting is very good value for money. Gave it only 3 stars for the instructions. It was just a peace of paper with very a poor information and quality. Overall very satisfied with the result.”

“Long delay in sending out the item and not kept informed of tracking. But I did get replies thru emails for my queries. I am very pleased with the lamp ordered. Would probably shop there again despite delay.”

“I have posted a separate review of the light fitting, so this is just about the purchase. The item arrived safely by Royal Mail, but we were expecting it to be delivered rather quicker than it was. The web site claims orders are usually despatched withing 24 hours, but although it was supposed to be in stock, ours took 8 days to be delivered, and I had to email the firm to ask what had happened to it. The light fitting was satifactory and looks good, but it isn't exactly the same as the one pictyred on the website.”

“Really pleased with the wall light but it did state bulb included but it was not, I did use your question service but had no reply, so had to buy a bulb which was not cheap, that's the reason for only 3 stars.”

“The Idaho twin wall light in antique brass finish looks good. However when the electrician came to install it he found that there was only one screw fixing point with a short screw supplied which meant that when fitted it was not secure and thus not safe. The electrician refitted with a long screw and secured additionally with "no more nails" under the base to give added adhesion -surely a design fault. Moreover the on /off switches are located underneath the base and are not easy to operate and because of stability worries I hold the base against the wall to guard against movement. The lights themselves look good and provide good illumination for reading. Despatch was prompt.”

“Product arrived next day which was good.. Lamp was sold as having a shade coming with it however just the base was sent. The delivery note made no mention of the shade. I had to contact customer services that were able to tell me the shade will not be available for over a month.. I had to return the item and look elsewhere”

“Why sell light fittings that don't come with the required lamp? This should be stated in BOLD PRINT so it can't be missed. The packaging which contained my two light fittings in their boxes (for mailing) was very flimsy and not quite big enough.”

“Lovely lamps... we ordered 13 for the office, sadly one has faulty wiring, we are working with THLC to hopefully get a replacement”

“Although delighted with the item it took two weeks to arrive. Had to contact THLC to find out what delay was. Whilst I understand delays happen an email to advise would have gone a long way in communicating with me as a customer.”

“Great stock assortment and fair prices, would really like to receive an update asorder after placement e-mail and an e-mail confirming dispatch and ETA rather than phoning up 7 days later to be advised they are en route for delivery that day! Apart from that stock was well packaged and arrived in good order so very satisfied. Thank you”

“The four fittings ( Searchlight 201) were delivered in good order and in good time from the date of order, however the fitting has a poor design in that the fixings have not been thought through Fixings supplied were 2 No 4mm x 40mm counter sunk wood screws complete with two short wall plugs and two of each, soft pvc and meat washers, the problem is that the screw need to be in the wall prior to lifting the fitting on to the fixing, however the washes are to large to fit thought the light fitting The answer is to provide new 4mm round head screws and to through away the supplied washers and screws, marks of of ten for design, only Four”
