“I changed a zip in this place after have to re-do 3 times because it was not center or not straight. I give up. The result is in the picture. The finish is far from professional”

“I had a raincoat relined, they lady who did this made my coat better than when I brought it new! I love it. The sewing is so well done and even my friends mentioned how nice it looks. I will be using them again for sure and telling my friends. Thank you :)”

“Needed two pairs of new trousers shortend, looked up on th net to find Zip Yard Staines. Really helpful staff. When I collected the trousers, was amazed at the quality of sewing. Huge thankyou and would not hesitate to recommend their wonderful service”

“I asked for the top to be taken in and the sleeves shortened. They charged a lot for what I asked for. I did the mistake and only tried it on at home & realised that I was ripped off as only the sleeves where shortened & the job was very shabby.”

Wala, Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. I am disappointed by your comments regarding your experience and that your first course of action is to leave a review of 1star. As you have mentioned we always encourage use of our changing rooms to check the alteration before you leave which you turned down and you would of been given a price when you booked in the item which you could of rejected if you thought too expensive. If you are unhappy with any of the work completed on your top please return the item at your earliest convenience and one of our seamstresses will have a look and make any necessary amendments. I also note you visited us in October last year and were happy with the service to came back a few months later. It's disappointing you are not as quick to share positive feedback as quickly as you are the negative ones.

“The work was of such a high standard that you couldn't even see alterations had been made. It was as though I had bought the clothes that way in the first place. The prices were very reasonable and there text alerts for when to pick up the items etc was also a nice convenient touch!”

“I came to the ZipYard in Staines to have some clothes altered. I needed a suit completely altered down two sizes and a dress and trousers to be hemmed. Both the ladies that I dealt with were lovely, very helpful and very professional. When I picked the clothes up - they were altered to an extremely high standard, I'm so pleased with my clothes and would have no hesitation with recommending them to any of my friends and family.”
