What I bought was delivered to me, but I didn’t receive any information about it, I didn’t know it was delivered I tried to track my order but It always had the same message about being sent and when I tried to ask for help you guys couldn’t help me, you only told me that once the Royal Mail had it that was it but I didn’t have access to any information, like something simple “it has been delivered”.

Hi Luisa Sorry to hear about your disappointment. We have been communicating with you virtually non-stop over the past 48 hours, including outside of hours. Your review however seems to be omitting a few facts, which may help others when reaching a conclusion. Firstly, your order was for a £2.70 badge. I mention this not to make your order appear a small one, as all orders are very welcome and we send hundreds of single badge orders daily, but to put into context something that you have put in your review. As per checkout and as per most other businesses, orders for smaller amounts go via First Class Royal Mail, this is the only option available in the UK. Royal Mail First Class is NOT a tracked service. In fact, the cheapest Royal Mail fully tracked service is Special Delivery, which Royal Mail charges over £6 for, so you can see why it was not sent Special. £6 was more than the total paid. When something is sent Royal Mail First Class, Royal Mail do not report back to the sender that it has been delivered, this is because it is not tracked. So, as you say, the order status on our website stated it had been sent and what day it had been sent. So, that is all we could advise regarding the status. No company that sends First Class Royal Mail can report a delivery status. That however was not all Luisa, as I will explain further. GDPR prevents me from being too specific, so this is a generalisation. The accommodation number you gave was 'similar' to Flat 86.3. With our help, we were able to establish that you had given an incorrect postcode when you ordered. This we had to establish with Royal Mails assistance as the postcode you gave only went up to number 50. You then said to 'try' another postcode and to drop it off at a nearby address, but you could not understand when we explained that your order was not with us, it had been sent already to the address provided. We cannot just get it back from Royal Mail or ask them to track it down and deliver it to a nearby address as you asked us to do. We fulfilled your order, exactly as ordered and I am sure had you provided the correct address your order may have arrived sooner. The fact that it was delivered to another part of the building (student complex) and they failed to advise you of its delivery is not within our control. We also cannot advise if an order has been delivered when the order value was of low value and Royal Mail do not report back on First Class. To be honest, I truly wish that for £1.75 postage (including VAT) we could offer a tracked service.... but alas there is no such courier in the UK. Without a courier telling us it has been delivered, we cannot offer "something so simple 'like it had been delivered" as you suggest.

Arrived late so couldn’t give to students on my last day! Wasted my money as stuck with the badges now. Arrived on Saturday instead of the Friday. I found the despatch/delivery too long.

Dispatch and delivery is clearly stated during ordering, checkout, delivery information page and order confirmation page. I see that arriving on the Saturday, was within the delivery estimate chosen during checkout.

The products were as expected, however the communication was absolutely appalling!!! I wanted to make sure my items would arrive in time for an occasion so I tried to contact you in various ways but I did not get one response back! I called 3 times (where it just rung out and no option to leave a message), I completed the web form and also emailed but I had no response.

Hi, sorry for your concerns I see your email to us was sent by replying to your order confirmation, which had in red and bold "You selected: Dispatch in 5 working days - by First Class Royal Mail (allow additional 1-2 days for delivery) for £1.50 GBP during checkout - your order will be processed to meet this request.". We are an internet based company with limited phone support and we reply to messages a soon as possible.

When the badges turned up they were great but unfortunately even though I paid for first class delivery they took over 4 days to arrive (can’t be sure how long as I left home for holiday) which meant I couldn’t use them at the event I had planned to. I contacted the company once and got a reply but I didn’t not hear anything back the second time I tried to contact them.

Hi Nicola, sorry to hear your badges arrived later than expected. I see from your order that you ordered on Sunday night (12th May) and during checkout you selected ‘Dispatch in 3 working days - allow 1-2 days for delivery. Your order therefore left us on the 15th May as selected. Please note that the days we quote are ‘dispatch’ not ‘deliver’. To arrive 4 days after ordering would be normal for the selection you made during checkout.

The badges look good but unfortunately they arrived after the hen do so where completely pointless! It took them 9 days to dispatch not 5 like they state on the website. If you go with this company allow at least 3 weeks to be sure they actually arrive on time! Such a shame.

Thanks for your review. Your ordered after 9pm on the Sunday 5th May and during checkout you selected "Dispatch in 5 working days - by First Class Royal Mail (allow additional 1-2 days for delivery)". Therefore, taking into account weekends and bank holidays (there was a bank holiday on the 6th May), your order was dispatched on the 13th May, the 5th working day after ordering. It may be 9 days 'date wise' including the actual day you ordered, but it is 5 working days, includes two weekends and one bank holiday. We do clearly state WORKING DAYS throughout checkout and in the order confirmation email it is in red bold letters.

We ordered the badges, and paid the extra, for a quicker delivery. They did not arrive on the day expected. I phone to be told there had been a delay with the printer - we did not receive a call to let us know. I was told they would be put on a pre-9am delivery - we did not receive until 1pm. As a result we did not receive the badges in time for our family event.

I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. If you look at the parcel, you will clearly see that, as promised and agreed it was sent for a Pre 9 delivery at our expense. If you look at the Royal Mail Label you will see it says Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed 9am. When we spoke you where advised very clearly that we could not provide or control the time that Royal Mail would deliver, only that it would be BEFORE 9am. I was very clear with you about this on the phone and you accepted this. The tracking shows Royal Mail tried to deliver at 7:10am that morning and there was no answer. They then tried again at 12:45pm (which I have to add is not normal practice, as normally they would have carded you to collect from them the following day). Royal Mail therefore done more than what they had been paid to do and exactly what we agreed. We cannot control how early Royal Mail deliver. I am sorry that your order was initially delayed, sometimes these things do happen. It was because of this we covered the cost of an expedited speedy delivery service. You where also offered a full refund but opted for the delivery instead, which we done.

Hi Thanks for your review. I can see however that you where sent a message the same day you ordered regarding the image that you provided, asking you how you would like for us to proceed. The image you uploaded was square but you ordered a circular badge. If we added your image to a circular badge lots of the image would be lost. If you login to your customer area you will see the message we sent, at the same time you would have had a copy of the message sent to the email address you provided.

Thanks for your review. I have looked at your order and I can see that your requested a custom 25mm promo badge. We have been unable to proceed with your order as we have been awaiting your approval for the artwork we have emailed for your badge. As you gave specific instructions for our smaller type badge, we really needed your approval before we could proceed. Your order was in the queue to be cancelled, which I have now expedited for you.

Thanks for your review. Sorry to hear that your badges have not yet arrived. I can see your badges left us on the 4th October. Perhaps it would be advantageous to contact us as I see no record of you letting us know about the problem. Letting us know at least gives us the chance to actually be aware they have not arrived and arrange replacements accordingly. The badges were of good quality, but the time it took for them to reach me was too long even though I paid for faster despatch and they did not arrive until two days after the birthday they were intended for.

HiLinton Sorry to hear that the badges arrived later then expected. I see from your order that it was placed on the afternoon of Saturday the 15th and you selected dispatch in 3 working days. Your order was therefore sent on the Wednesday 19th as requested. It is important to note that our estimates are not deliver in.... but dispatch in. This maybe where this can cause confusion, however as the badges have to go through various stages we do have to have the minimum of 3 days for orders such as yours (customised badges)

I am sorry to hear your badges arrived to late for your event. I see your order was placed late afternoon on the 26th November and you selected our dispatch in 3 working days option. Your order was therefore due to leave us on Wednesday 29th. Your order did in fact leave us on the 28th as per your selected method. All orders leave First Class and can take a few days to arrive, especially when Royal Mail are busy with events such as Black Friday. Please accept our apologies for the delay in receiving them.

I was not happy with the size of the badges. I just expected a standard size badge but the badges were very small. I know there was an option to make badges bigger but I dont think the sizing is that clear. I would like to have bigger badges as can hardly read the writing on my ones.

Tracey, thank you for taking the time to leave Feedback, all of which we appreciate and use to further improve the service we offer. If I understand your complaint correctly, you are dissatisfied with the size of the badges you received as they where not ‘standard’. I have looked at your order and can see you orderded a single 25mm badge and multiple 38mm badges. When we started The Badge Centre 6 years ago we made a conscious decision not to use sizes such as XXS, XS, S, M, L.... etc... etc... instead we decided to use the actual size as the selection. So when you chose your 25mm badge, you choose 25mm.... which clearly indicates the size being 25mm. I feel that size is something that we make very clear in both the options during purchase and our badge information page. We also detail size in your order confirmation.

Hi Sally Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I have looked at your order and I can see it was placed late in the afternoon on the 25th of July and that you selected 'Dispatch in 5 working days'. Your order was therefore due to leave us on the 2nd August. I see that your order was actually dispatched on the 1st, the day before it was due to leave us. Delivered the wrong colour badge even though they waited for me to approve the colour I wanted. And even though I had responded with information from the badge no-one got back in contact when I said they had delivered the wring colour. Found the whole process very slow even though I had selected them because they were a UK based company.
