“I previously used to use the standard washing liquids and detergent powders from the local shops and always irritated me with how quickly they finished because of how much product one had to use. Our Refill Return program has changed a little bit over the past couple years.
All you need to do is save up your refill packs, and wait for your free single reply paid envelope to arrive.
The envelopes will arrive in every third order.
When the refills come back, they collectively all go into a Refill, Return collection.
From here, they are sanitised and filled up again to be reused for anyone a part of the program.
So the refills you send back may not necessarily be the ones you receive back.
Here are some things you will need to know about the program:
- Bundle up your refill packs and send them with min. 4 standard packs or 1 bulk in each envelope. This makes it worthwhile for you, and ensures we are minimising our carbon footprint.
- Try not to stack the spout corners of each pack. This will ensure you don’t exceed AusPost’s letter height restriction of 2 cm (spouts are 1.4cm).
- Please take extra care that the refill packs still have their lids on and *tightened*. This is important because if there is any detergent on the letters, they run the risk of not making it back or ruining others’ mail - which might set Aus Post hot on our tail.
