Ordered item on 29 November and requested details of carrier and likely delivery date. Reponse said its on its way but no other details. Chased again asking for delivery details but no response. Tried tracking using Royal Mail tracker which advised that they were waiting for item from supplier, tried a number of times over the course of week but still no change to status. Used G&G's tracker but details not found. On 9th December advisrd by RM that item was at Gatwick and would be processed. I can only assume that it as come from overseas which hadn't been mentioned before. Very disappointed with service particulary the lack of response to my requests.

Gyro purchased faulty. Present for my grandson. His father, my son, pursuing this. Hopefully now exchanged

The item arrived with the hour hand and thermometer hand loose and floppy. I was crestfallen. This had been a replacement of an identical clock/thermometer bought at Heligan many years ago and loved. The item NEARLY went into the bin, but my partner wanted to repair it. This he managed to do and it is now working.

I’m sorry I ordered for 6ft 7inc padded pool for my grandchildren and 10ft one was sent to me. I was not happy at all because the kids are very young for that .So next time you should be careful

I am very sorry your order arrived with a missing item. Unfortunately when you contacted us to say an item was missing we had by then sold out of stock of the item. Please check your junk/spam folders as we did reply to your message to inform you of this. We also refunded you for the missing item. Very disappointed as paid for next day delivery and item took 10 days to arrive Tried telephoning you but was asked to email which I did but never got a reply. Item finally arrived and was what I wanted but your Service is rubbish and why did you still charge me for next day delivery? I would not use Gift and Gadget again.

I am sorry for the delay with your order reaching you. Unfortunately the original shipping address given did not have a house name or number on it and this is why the order was returned to us. Please check your junk/spam folders as our customer service department did reply to your messages and the order was resent to the new address given. Ordered 2 prefilled Christmas stockings for my kids, paid extra to get it delivered 1st class. Over a week later, they finally arrive. Emailed the company and still no reply.

It was supposed to be a walking kitten but it did not walk. It just wobbled on the same spot. The kitten was attractive. You will need a very small Philips screwdriver to open the battery case.

The package was damaged which damaged the wrapping paper that I paid extra for emailed twice with no reply

Bought as a gift for Christmas and the box came very damaged. Packaging didn’t protect the boxed item at all.

I ordered a skateboard, advertised with purple wheels. When it arrived, it had pink wheels! Although thegiftandgadgetstore offered free returns for this error, it turns out the skateboard is too big for the returns process so had all the faff of trying to contact someone to find out how to return it free of charge. I now have to try to repackage it for returns ensuring it doesnt get damaged enroute! Despite asking a few times, i havent been given an answer whether a replacement is going to be sent causing some stress.

I have three small boys and I am getting really fed up with toys. I searched and searched for a good quality transporter and was willing to pay a bit more for quality. This wasn't extortionate but not cheap either. It has a nice, solid die cast cab but then the most flimsy, complicated plastic mechanism for the trailer which hardly works and was very quickly broken. Why is quality so poor? Would it really be prohibitively expensive to make it all from metal, have simple mechanisms that would last years? Or are the manufacturers just hoping people will buy new ones when they break and create landfill? Not a criticism of Gift and Gadget but a real bug bear on toys generally.
