Hey, Anthony 👋 Based on our clinical studies and feedback from users, we recommend using Nerivio about 4-5 times to evaluate its efficacy for aborting your migraine attacks. This will allow you to get accustomed to using the device and app, set the intensity level to an optimal level, and experience the app's behavioral therapy feature – GIER. For migraine prevention, our clinical trial shows that after 2 weeks of treating with Nerivio every other day, you can already benefit from a reduction in attack frequency. To experience a larger reduction in attack frequency, we recommend treating every other day for 8 weeks, which was shown to lead to a mean reduction of 4 migraine days per month.

“I had a very bad (level 8 pain) migraine for 2 dsys and got the Nerivio and did my first 45 minute session it relived some of my pain (3)! I can’t believe it! To me, it works! If you experiencing any pain it’s worth a try!”

Set an intensity that is strong but comfortable. Use the + to increase the intensity until it feels strong yet comfortable and not painful. Setting the intensity below this point could decrease the efficacy of the treatment. In clinical trials, levels below 20% were found to be less effective by the majority of patients. 3. “Nerivio helps fairly well if the pain is mild to low moderate & I use it very early which is great as I avoid medication overuse. It’s not a panacea for all migraines but that’s expected I think. Overall I’m glad to have an additional treatment method for migraines that avoids additional medication.”

“I have taken 5 episode till today, only first time I had to take medicine after taking nerivio episode. Then I don't need to take medicine, instant relief from pain. Just one thing I m experienced that feeling sleepy after taking episode.”

Hi, Sejal. We’re glad you’ve experienced relief and have been able to decrease medication reliance. Feeling sleepy or tired during Nerivio treatment is not listed as a typical adverse event. The most common side effects are temporary and localized to the arm, including warmth, tingling, numbness, pain, redness, or muscle spasms. These effects usually disappear shortly after treatment ends. Consult with your healthcare provider if this reaction persists, if your migraine worsens, if an allergic reaction occurs, or if there are any other concerns.
