“I really appreciate having the Nerivio device because I like to have a non-medication treatment option. My benefits from the device are only with respect to certain types of migraines and for some only while the device is in use - but I appreciate even just the 45 minute break from the pain that I can get. I wish my insurance would cover the device though! : )”

“It’s sometimes difficult to get Nerivio setup & going when a migraine has started - often I ask my spouse to help - but I like using it, especially with the guided imagery/meditation. I prefer either it or Cefaly as first line of treatment over medication, and usually can do without meds when using it.”

“It helps, but it feels so wasteful. I wish it was rechargeable, or the batteries and pads could be changed, etc. I'd rather pay more up front and not end up with so much plastic waste, etc. There are times I delay using it until it's too late to be effective because of the 12-use limit per device.”

When rechargable batteries become less expensive and lighter weight this choice will be reconsidered. “nerivio generally lessens or completely relieves me of my migraines if i catch it within the 0-60 minute window. even if i wait past then it is still helpful.”

“Nerivio has been absolutely life-changing for me. I’m more days migraine-free than ever before and I truly feel like I have my life back. The only feedback that I have is I wish that the guided imagery telling you what is going on would last for the whole treatment. As of right now, it only lasts for part of the treatment so I have to keep replaying it and hearing the same stuff over and over when it’s no longer relevant. Perhaps you guys could create a longer guided option?”

“It's expensive after the first time for me. It does help, but I have to weigh benefit versus cost. Can't you just pack the tems unit without all of the accessories for less?”

“I believe it works with my current rescues. I appreciate that it’s not another typical medicine. I find it helps me to relax and break the migraine cycle easier. I feel I am more clear headed after my migraine breaks if I’ve been able to use my nerivio. I’d really like to see if my insurance will accept it. I haven’t tried that yet.”

“Nerivio lets me get my migraine attacks under quick control (as long as I'm home and can use the unit). The other interesting thing is that I sleep better after using Nerivio for my migraines so I wonder if this technology can also help with insomnia? The one thing I wish was possible is to reuse the unit by having it "refilled" electronically and getting new pads to stick to my arm as opposed to having to keep purchasing all new devices. I especially don't need the box, arm band, and paperwork with every unit I purchase. Finally, I wish it was easier to get Nerivio with insurance. It's shocking to me that insurance will pay 100% of my Nurtec costs, but not Nerivio.”

“I have found Nerivio to be quite amazing in treating a migraine, I was using Treximet for many years, the naproxen in the drug caused me to have kidney disease. I also take three preventative medications at night for migraines. It was interesting when first using the Nerivio figuring out how high I would be comfortable with going, I guess a tad bit scary! I have become a pro!”

“I have lived with migraine for more than half my life - episodic/chronic and now now intractable for the last 5 years. I have been at my wit's end more than once thinking that there was nothing that would help me cope with the unrelenting pain on the worst days. I learned about your device and told my neurologist who had didn't hesitate to submit a prescription. I knew it wasn't intended to treat migraineurs like me, but I was desperate. I was amazed that something so simple could make such a big difference. If I can get it on my arm in time, it will stop the attack from getting unbearable, or even kick it to the curb if I am lucky. I do wish there was a way to get just the device itself with refills and not the pouch and armbands. I feel like it's such a waste to throw them into the trash (although, I have found other uses for the spare pouches). I also hope that Medicare (and the corresponding prescription insurance that goes along with it) will eventually cover the cost of the device; $299 for four devices at a time is a savings but it is still a lot of money out of pocket.”
