For migraine prevention, our clinical trial shows that after 2 weeks of treating with Nerivio every other day, you can already benefit from a reduction in attack frequency. To experience a larger reduction in attack frequency, we recommend treating every other day for 8 weeks, which was shown to lead to a mean reduction of 4 migraine days per month.

“I love my device! I’ve failed just about every medication for migraines. It’s not just a headache, in fact your head may not hurt during migraines. It is an all over body autonomic nervous system event. Through this little neuromodulator, I usually get relief from nausea and all over body pain. Or a headache. Sometimes I take a triptan with it. But this is a game changer. It works! I can’t believe the world of migraines has improved so much since 2009 when migraines took my career away. Very little help offered at that time. The experts said weather was not a cause. Now the researchers agree weather affects migraine by a rising barometric pressure. Every single time it gets me. My Nerivio keeps me going instead of 3-4 days of vestibular system vertigo. The Gear Up sessions are just right as I start treatment. Thank you Nerivio for this miracle. The sooner I use it with first signs of migraine, the more effective it is before my brain is toast.”

“I’ve done 3 treatments in 6 days, Nerivio has changed my life. I can function where usually I would be man down at least 2 days post migraine. I did not have to take my usual medication, huge improvement on Nerivio. My pain is tolerable.”

“Amazing! Best 45mins of my day with the guided visualisation video on as well. The clinical evidence for the device is sound, and I feel that that imagery session really adds to the effect. But sadly is too expensive on self-pay UK prices. I have done 4 treatments, every other day, so far to get the preventive effect. I have daily migraine and would love to use it for each migraine. I doubt I will be able to afford another device for months, so will likely have to use it to cover my annual treatment gap (local NHS requires annual washout of CGRP injections). But it is keeping this bearable this year, which is huge.”

“I’m so so thankful for nerivio! I take significantly less PRN medicine since I’ve been using it. If I feel a migraine coming and I use my nerivio, about 50% of the time I don’t have to take medicine. I have no side effects except the slight discomfort while using it.”

Charity, we are so happy to hear you have found relief with Nerivio! It’s important to begin treatment as early as possible (preferably within 60 minutes of the start of your migraine), set an intensity that is strong but comfortable, and complete the full 45-minute treatment. Set the treatment intensity to a level that feels strong yet comfortable and not painful. If the sensation is uncomfortable or painful, you should decrease the intensity by 1 or 2% or until strong but comfortable.
