Glad to hear it, Inderjit! Based on our clinical studies and feedback from users, we recommend using Nerivio about 4-5 times to evaluate its efficacy for aborting your migraine attacks. For migraine prevention, our clinical trial shows that after 2 weeks of treating with Nerivio every other day, you can already benefit from a reduction in attack frequency. To experience a larger reduction in attack frequency, we recommend treating every other day for 8 weeks, which was shown to lead to a mean reduction of 4 migraine days per month.

“Amazing! Best 45mins of my day with the guided visualisation video on as well. The clinical evidence for the device is sound, and I feel that that imagery session really adds to the effect. But sadly is too expensive on self-pay UK prices. I have done 4 treatments, every other day, so far to get the preventive effect. I have daily migraine and would love to use it for each migraine. I doubt I will be able to afford another device for months, so will likely have to use it to cover my annual treatment gap (local NHS requires annual washout of CGRP injections). But it is keeping this bearable this year, which is huge.”

“I’m so so thankful for nerivio! I take significantly less PRN medicine since I’ve been using it. If I feel a migraine coming and I use my nerivio, about 50% of the time I don’t have to take medicine. I have no side effects except the slight discomfort while using it.”

Charity, we are so happy to hear you have found relief with Nerivio! It’s important to begin treatment as early as possible (preferably within 60 minutes of the start of your migraine), set an intensity that is strong but comfortable, and complete the full 45-minute treatment. Set the treatment intensity to a level that feels strong yet comfortable and not painful. If the sensation is uncomfortable or painful, you should decrease the intensity by 1 or 2% or until strong but comfortable. Nerivio Cares customer support (support@nerivio.com / 866-637-4846) is also available for assistance with your Nerivio.

“Since starting nerivio I have not had to take as much migraine meds as I was in the past!! I do a treatment everywhere day for 45 mins as a preventative and I make sure I always have it in my purse so that if my neck pain decides to throw me for a loop I have it at arms length to just throw on and do another treatment.. I also noticed that it has helped me with my neck pain as well. This is a great device and I am glad to be able to use it and have it in my life!! I eventually hope to come off all migraine meds and only use as needed and only use nerivio... wonderful device if u have migraines and let's not even talk about the diary and gier up inside the app.. it really helps u concentrate and focus on your breathing . You can lay in bed sit in a chair plug in head phones or lay with the lights out it all helps.. I can now do my treatments anywhere even at work at my desk before I start clinic.. this is how great this product is!!! Hope this review helps someone else who suffers from these debilitating migraines!!”

“I have had constant headaches for over 15 years due to TBI from being near numerous explosions while deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Have not found the cure after Botox, numerous medications and a monthly shot. Nerivio doesn't stop the headaches but it does make them manageable. Very pleased with the product.”

“I'm shocked, this product actually works on myself. I take it with me if I go out to run errands, when I'm working outside so when migraines symptoms start I apply nerivio rest and continue with my day.”

However, it is not recommended that you drive, cycle or operate any heavy machinery will using Nerivio. Exposure to water, such as swimming or taking a shower, should also be avoided.
