“It's a tough one to write, this. I would recommend their customer service but I wouldn't recommend buying from them. Seems they are the middle men/women in this. You buy a tank from them and it actually comes from Wydale Tanks without these guys even seeing it?!? They may be sister companies or whatever but my tank arrived damaged. There was zero packaging on the tank so it's highly likely to get damaged which I find very strange. They where quick to reply and helpful but heavily reliant on what Wydale Tanks had to say even though it was The Tank Shop that took my money. Refund issued, still waiting for this nearly 4 days later.”

Thank you for your review Michael. We do sincerely apologise to you for the frustration you experienced due to the scuffed tank. We did speak and email at lengths regarding the tank scuffs and you accepted a part refund for the issue. We processed your refund the exact same day. The reason it seems so long for you to receive it is because the refund was processed on a Friday, then the weekend are non-working days for the banks. We are reliant on the bank to move the funds back to you (this is usually around 3 working days). We had offered a replacement tank (despite the tank being signed for in good condition), but you had accepted the part refund. You will find that the majority of online sellers of storage tanks operate in same way as we do (the order is despatched to the customer direct from the manufacturer to the customer). This ensures the quickest delivery at the lowest cost to the customer.

“Good prices on the website, however, be warned the delivery charges are very expensive, it was almost £270 to central Scotland. It would have been cheaper to hire a van myself. I would not have minded if the delivery was a "first-class" service - but sadly it wasn't. The delivery was 2 days late, turned up a with small van that could not fit the two water tanks we ordered properly, so they removed the shipping pallet to squeeze them in. No word of an apology from the delivery company or The Tank Shop - I think I look elsewhere in the future for my tank needs !”

Joe, thank you for taking the time to provide us with valuable feedback regarding your experience with The Tank Shop. We regret the inconvenience caused with the delivery, and fully understand your frustration with the delivery charges. With the high cost of fuel everyone is finding it increasingly difficult to obtain reasonable haulage charges. However, the additional cost to you in Scotland was kept to a minimum at £18 per tank, which in the current situation is reasonable. It is unacceptable for us to offer a service that is not “first-class”, and if we had know about this before you leaving this review we would have certainly apologised for the situation. We will be addressing it with Enduramaxx. We sincerely apologise for the delivery delay. Thank you once again for giving us your feedback.
