Absolutely terrible. Ordered 14 3l rosemary plants. They had simply stacked them straight on top of each other in the box, and because they are quite heavy at 3l the top plants have absolutely flattened and broken all the lower plants. Very poor condition, bone dry, much of the soil had spilled out of the pots. For an order which took over 10 days despite being confirmed on the order as next day dispatch, they have failed on quality, packaging and delivery time. Would not from T and M again, and would not recommend (unless you like broken dead plants!)

Bought four plants - Apollo hibiscus, and three tomato plants. Hibiscus died within a week of being planted in a patio container from powdery mildew, the tomato plants were nearly dead when they arrived and I've had no response to my email to customer care asking for a refund or replacement of the tomato plants. Not happy, won't use again.

I would avoid this company . Ordered early March , heard nothing , now almost end of January had a confusing email, but still no plants . VERY disappointed with this company, be warned they take your money but do not deliver within the given time frame, and then send a bland email with no specific date and whether the plants will ever turn up. Now have a refund, but I was dependent on these plants . I will never ever use this company again. There was no apology when I wrote to them either

Tried to find offer for free veg. seeds pay only for postage as advertised in daily paper code as given did not exist seems to be scam to get you to buy something else.

Just received my order for two phormium which were supposed to be 59” one was 48” the other was 24”.. Not only that the condition of the one plant was scraggy and lots of dead growth… Definately not worth the money Avoid this company like the plague they are obviously scammers and wide boys who are greedy for money but not providing a decent product

I ordered 15 delphinium plants nothing came for a few weeks so I rang t&m they had none left so order transferred to 2023 without telling me. Customer service lady was quite offhand eventually apologised and said money would be refunded.

Bought several plants though amazon all very bad - no growth from any raspberry cane. Sall blueberry plants poor goosberry plants.

I ordered two hanging baskets, and was advised after some time that they would be delayed further. I then received one which was not in bloom, and contacted them to say that only one had arrived, and is the other on the way. The reply was that it is not arriving as they did not have stock any more. Had I have been advised before they sent out the incomplete order then I would have cancelled. Also the one received is now blooming, and is not anything like either of the ones which were ordered. I wonder who runs this company as the whole experience is an absolute waste of time, and money

Bought a Dwarf fern tree on amazon from Thompson & Morgan back in June & it stated item would be sent by end of July , a long wait but okay I ordered it , now today I get an email saying sorry it won't be dispatched until 2nd September - I'm not joking ! They shouldn't take your money if they haven't got the plants in stock . They are clearly not running the business properly judging by reviews on here & trustpilot etc .

We ordered 2 identical plants and received an email acknowledgement that confirmed Despatch: Within 24 Hours. After nine days I contacted them on a Thursday to be told that they would be delivered on Monday or Tuesday. They did not arrive so I emailed them to be told "At this stage, your order is currently on the picking list. We are currently advising to allow 10-14 working days for dispatch." This was 14 days after ordering! I replied and advised them that if the plants had not been delivered by 21 June (3 weeks after order) then the order should be cancelled as we would be on holiday. This was ignored as they were despatched on 20 June and delivered on 28 June. We were still away.

I too have had a bad experience with this company. Jumbo plant plugs of Petunia and Fuschia’s half dead. Tomato plants weak and droopy, took a while to get them back into growing condition. Lavenders ordered back in March and am still waiting for 3 of them. Very eager to take money but mot so when asking for a refund. Will NEVER use this company again

Terrible company. spent £150 in March on various tomato plants along with others. The flower plug plants that arrived were tiny, have taken ages in a greenhouse to get up to a standard able to be planted on. Strawberry plants never arrived, i had to chase these up. Tomato plants - were supposed to arrive in May. first batch that arrived were in an appalling state. Fortunately they were out of stock so they had to provide a refund. But the company never provides a breakdown of what the refund is. The amount is less than I paid but ignore all attempts for them to confirm to me exactly what they refunded. I said to them at the time the credit card I originally used was closed, but they still insisted to refund to it. I had to contact the credit card company to find out where the refund was. Last lot of tomatoes were despatched, but never arrived. After 7 days I chased these up - the company finally said, oh they were damaged in transit! you would have thought they would have contacted me to let know, but I only found out when I chased them up! Took them nearly a week to reply. I had told them twice at this point that the card is closed - again they have refunded partially to it. Again they refused to tell me what they have refunded. I also paid an additional sum to have the plants treated..... they won't refund this - what a waste - plants that did arrive were in an appalling state, but more than half didn't arrive - yet I am paying for these to be treated?!!! Never use this company!!!

Over the years I have tried to give Thompson and Morgan my custom, but I’ve been continually let down by the quality of their plants. I vowed never to purchase from them again a few years ago but foolishly I succumbed to purchasing some petunias. I saw some black flowered plants. Wonderful, just what would make a focal point. I succumbed. Not cheap, three plants for £15 via a shopping tv channel. £15 for three bedding plants but they would have looked stunning as you turned a corner in my garden. Oh what arrived, three tiny plants, I nurtured them, I planted them into a pot all on their own. I waited for them to have buds as I removed all flower buds prior to potting. I was excited as more flower buds appeared. Then the buds opened, too much for one of the plants,it withered and died, one plant was deliciously the deepest purple/black, then the third plant, oh lilac and white striped! This is all what I have come to expect from this company. Dead or dying plants, wrong colour sent or plants that just do not flourish. Sending the wrong colour which is not realised for months until that wow you designed into your border becomes a arrgh as a plant or bulb blooms. How do they consistently get it so wrong. A5 least the shopping channel gave me a refund. I have at last learned my lesson. Never again will Thompson and Morgan have my custom.

Ordered fourty eight Summer bedding plants via Wowcher. After three weeks waiting for delivery, chased it up, Thompson and Morgan referred me back to Wowcher who referred me back to Thompson and Morgan, who stated that they had no record of my order so referred back to Wowcher. Miraculously, with a few hours, Thompson and Morgan had emailed Wowcher confirming order, though I had not received the email which had supposedly been sent to me. Another week later, tracking package, it had not arrived. Contacted Thompson and Morgan who said it 'must have got lost in transit' and that they were unable to send a replacement as the offer had ended. Ordered some Begonias from them, again via Wowcher which arrived today. Four out of six decapitated, one leaf on one full pf holes and roots bone dry. I have never had problems with this company before and have been patronising the business for some years.

Is this the same company as Thompson & Morgan? If so, I have had the most horrendous experience with them over the past six months, having spent over £300 (of which over £80 was for post and packing). I purchased a range of plug plants, bare root plants and bulbs. NONE of the bulbs were as described, particularly the tulips where I paid extra for ones like Rasta Parrot and got common or garden white, a collection supposed to be deep purple and pale lilac, which were white with one or two purple, orange ones which were half - you've guessed it - white. Over 200 aliums which should have filled a bed with colour produced only 7 flower heads - really??? Iris Metalic mix are common or garden dutch iris. Iris Katherine Hodgkins are common or garden dutch iris. ALL of the plug plants, of which there were over 200, were dead on arrival. Nothing was as described, nothing has thrived. To be fair to T&M they have refunded quite a lot but I gave up complaining after the fourth or fifth time, and they have still had a vast amount of postage out of me. Instead of my flower beds - of which there are many - bursting with colour they are decidedly dreary. The one good thing was that customer service have been very good at responding, although they do seem to get very confused about things.

Don't buy anything from this bunch. Almost everything I bought died in the first year - raspberries, blueberries and gooseberries. You will receive tiny, weak plants that struggle to survive.

Terrible customer service. I have emailed twice about a refund and heard nothing back. Plants arrived dead, unbelievable that they had been packed in such a condition. I wouldn't recommend this seller.
