“I placed three separate orders for flowers and small trees from Thompson & Morgan using a voucher. Unfortunately, I received only one of the three orders. The other two packages never arrived, despite the fact that they were fully paid for.
I contacted Thompson & Morgan Customer Service to ask about the missing deliveries, but I never received any response. It is extremely disappointing and unprofessional that a company would completely ignore a customer who is simply asking about orders that were paid for but never delivered.
This lack of communication and failure to resolve a basic issue is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. Customers deserve proper service, clear communication, and delivery of the products they paid for.”

Deceitful marketing. Mrs bought 100 bulbs, 75% didn't emerge. Rosa cutie pie purchased March 2025, finally shipped August 2025. Thompson & Morgan basically saying this is normal, they'll flower in 2026. Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere, unless you like cheap and dishonest.”
“I use to buy plants online. The plugs plants never survived. I bought 2 Acer via Amazon. It took weeks to arrive. Plants were saplings. +/-£13 each. They both did not survive. Peonies were soft and rotting. Avoiding this company.”
“I bought a bundle of bare-root plants and bulbs. A third of the bare-root plants failed to germinate/survive, and upon planting I realised that the Acidanthera bulbs had been substituted with more Gladioli. So not a great experience. Still decent value, but beware that you have to be flexible over what you might end up with”

“Hopeless. Never again. I've never had such poor plants or bad service. Everything was small (or smaller than small). No helpfulness on delivery dates, all arrived at different times. One - despite promises of arriving before I was going away - came a whole month and a half late (and I was by that time away again) and was tiny.”
“Ordered 72 perenials and fell for 'offers' and bought a further 36 pack for 5.99.Reived dispatch detail however after 8 days they had nit arrived.Complained and the 5.99 pack arrived.This was june and plants were advertised as 1 week dispatch .I chased for the 72 pack to be told they would be end of July. 30th July chased abd told it was still July then received a delay until 2/i and then the order was cancelled.Awaiting refund !They have sold these 72 packs oc perenials all summer so not sure why I ws stoll waiting 9 weeks later.Next year I'm just getting seeds!”
“Three years running I have ordered the Cornel Brons Dahlia and each year I have been sent something else. This year I also ordered a Purple Fox Dahlia in the hope they might get one part of my order right but neither were. They sent me two yellow Dahlias (I strongly dislike yellow dahlias). Not only were they the wrong colour but they sent cactus Dahlias instead of ball varieties. If I could give Thomson & Morgan no stars I would.”
“Having received a poor quality plant in May that failed to thrive I eventually got a refund but not for the overpriced postage for one tiny plant. They are no longer a reliable company and will just send anything out.”
“Failed to deliver order and sent wrong product instead. The alternative product was so small only about half have survived and are too small to plant this year. Original order delivered approximately 2 months after I expected. When product eventually arrived it was so tiny that it had obviously been planted when I first informed them that my order was missing. Plants are far too small to use in my garden this summer. I am doubtful if they will survive.
I have used this company before without incident but I will not be using them again.”
