“Avoid using this company. Placed order and payment taken, given several weeks as delivery time but never recieved. No response to communication. Don't risk throwing your money away.”

“This company is disgraceful. Plants are dead and tiny pots impossible to work with. Cannot trace my order. £18 Was a waste of money AVOID this company”

“Hopeless. Never again. I've never had such poor plants or bad service. Everything was small (or smaller than small). No helpfulness on delivery dates, all arrived at different times. One - despite promises of arriving before I was going away - came a whole month and a half late (and I was by that time away again) and was tiny.”

“Ordered 72 perenials and fell for 'offers' and bought a further 36 pack for 5.99.Reived dispatch detail however after 8 days they had nit arrived.Complained and the 5.99 pack arrived.This was june and plants were advertised as 1 week dispatch .I chased for the 72 pack to be told they would be end of July. 30th July chased abd told it was still July then received a delay until 2/i and then the order was cancelled.Awaiting refund !They have sold these 72 packs oc perenials all summer so not sure why I ws stoll waiting 9 weeks later.Next year I'm just getting seeds!”

“Three years running I have ordered the Cornel Brons Dahlia and each year I have been sent something else. This year I also ordered a Purple Fox Dahlia in the hope they might get one part of my order right but neither were. They sent me two yellow Dahlias (I strongly dislike yellow dahlias). Not only were they the wrong colour but they sent cactus Dahlias instead of ball varieties. If I could give Thomson & Morgan no stars I would.”

“Having received a poor quality plant in May that failed to thrive I eventually got a refund but not for the overpriced postage for one tiny plant. They are no longer a reliable company and will just send anything out.”

“Failed to deliver order and sent wrong product instead. The alternative product was so small only about half have survived and are too small to plant this year. Original order delivered approximately 2 months after I expected. When product eventually arrived it was so tiny that it had obviously been planted when I first informed them that my order was missing. Plants are far too small to use in my garden this summer. I am doubtful if they will survive. I have used this company before without incident but I will not be using them again.”

“I spent £130 on a tree that arrived diseased. When I requested either a replacement or a refund they offered £20 off code. Please do not purchase plants from them.”

“I ordered 2 baskets as have done for years the baskets arrived upside down as the courier must have dropped them it took days to reply to my massages and did not get back to me so rang then up he said it is the courier not then I said I bye of them of thomson and morgan not the courier so still have no baskets I will never bye from them again I will tell people to bye from local garden centre from people that care for the customers thank eamonn caton”

“bought sumer bulbs of freesia which I stated in a request for review from the company were very small. Got a response saying they were sure I would be happy but not a single one grew, just stayed dormant in the soil, tying up a planter for months.”

“I paid £4.99 for a packet of Shirley tomato f1 seeds. I set them in good compost four weeks ago in a heated propagator. Not one seed has germinated. How fresh ate these seeds?.do the staff spent the winter repacking seeds and then change the sell by date”

“This will be the second year that I have ordered from TM, last year we had beautiful golden begonias, so on the strength of that we ordered the same again this year, however, they arrived too early and although we looked after them in the same way as last year, we have lost the all. We will not be ordering again fro TM.”

“They replaced my whole order within 2 weeks despite it only being 20% damaged, probably the best customer services department I've ever dealt with, all I did was send a email stating the problem. Thanks.”

“I have set Shirley f1 tomato seeds twice now.these seeds are not cheap 4.99 per packet. Set in heated propagator. At a temp of 65 .not one has germinated. Again. I have now had to visit a local garden centre to buy plants at a cost of £2 each..I do not have money to burn”

“Sent one packet of wrong seeds on a 3 packet order out phoned twice about this basically called me a liar saying they had not received first phone call when its on my phone record and said I'd got order wrong even though seeds sent out to me I'd never heard of then wanted to charge me for replacement , awfull service and won't be ordering again even though I've had lots of things in past.”
