Terrible company, customer service non existent. Just waiting for a plant that they have taken the money for and will inscribe. One of the worse companies I have ever dealt with

Terrible company. spent £150 in March on various tomato plants along with others. The flower plug plants that arrived were tiny, have taken ages in a greenhouse to get up to a standard able to be planted on. Strawberry plants never arrived, i had to chase these up. Tomato plants - were supposed to arrive in May. first batch that arrived were in an appalling state. Fortunately they were out of stock so they had to provide a refund. But the company never provides a breakdown of what the refund is. The amount is less than I paid but ignore all attempts for them to confirm to me exactly what they refunded. I said to them at the time the credit card I originally used was closed, but they still insisted to refund to it. I had to contact the credit card company to find out where the refund was. Last lot of tomatoes were despatched, but never arrived. After 7 days I chased these up - the company finally said, oh they were damaged in transit! you would have thought they would have contacted me to let know, but I only found out when I chased them up! Took them nearly a week to reply. I had told them twice at this point that the card is closed - again they have refunded partially to it. Again they refused to tell me what they have refunded. I also paid an additional sum to have the plants treated..... they won't refund this - what a waste - plants that did arrive were in an appalling state, but more than half didn't arrive - yet I am paying for these to be treated?!!! Never use this company!!!

Over the years I have tried to give Thompson and Morgan my custom, but I’ve been continually let down by the quality of their plants. I vowed never to purchase from them again a few years ago but foolishly I succumbed to purchasing some petunias. I saw some black flowered plants. Wonderful, just what would make a focal point. I succumbed. Not cheap, three plants for £15 via a shopping tv channel. £15 for three bedding plants but they would have looked stunning as you turned a corner in my garden. Oh what arrived, three tiny plants, I nurtured them, I planted them into a pot all on their own. I waited for them to have buds as I removed all flower buds prior to potting. I was excited as more flower buds appeared. Then the buds opened, too much for one of the plants,it withered and died, one plant was deliciously the deepest purple/black, then the third plant, oh lilac and white striped! This is all what I have come to expect from this company. Dead or dying plants, wrong colour sent or plants that just do not flourish. Sending the wrong colour which is not realised for months until that wow you designed into your border becomes a arrgh as a plant or bulb blooms. How do they consistently get it so wrong. A5 least the shopping channel gave me a refund. I have at last learned my lesson. Never again will Thompson and Morgan have my custom.

Ordered fourty eight Summer bedding plants via Wowcher. After three weeks waiting for delivery, chased it up, Thompson and Morgan referred me back to Wowcher who referred me back to Thompson and Morgan, who stated that they had no record of my order so referred back to Wowcher. Miraculously, with a few hours, Thompson and Morgan had emailed Wowcher confirming order, though I had not received the email which had supposedly been sent to me. Another week later, tracking package, it had not arrived. Contacted Thompson and Morgan who said it 'must have got lost in transit' and that they were unable to send a replacement as the offer had ended. Ordered some Begonias from them, again via Wowcher which arrived today. Four out of six decapitated, one leaf on one full pf holes and roots bone dry. I have never had problems with this company before and have been patronising the business for some years.

Is this the same company as Thompson & Morgan? If so, I have had the most horrendous experience with them over the past six months, having spent over £300 (of which over £80 was for post and packing). I purchased a range of plug plants, bare root plants and bulbs. NONE of the bulbs were as described, particularly the tulips where I paid extra for ones like Rasta Parrot and got common or garden white, a collection supposed to be deep purple and pale lilac, which were white with one or two purple, orange ones which were half - you've guessed it - white. Over 200 aliums which should have filled a bed with colour produced only 7 flower heads - really??? Iris Metalic mix are common or garden dutch iris. Iris Katherine Hodgkins are common or garden dutch iris. ALL of the plug plants, of which there were over 200, were dead on arrival. Nothing was as described, nothing has thrived. To be fair to T&M they have refunded quite a lot but I gave up complaining after the fourth or fifth time, and they have still had a vast amount of postage out of me. Instead of my flower beds - of which there are many - bursting with colour they are decidedly dreary. The one good thing was that customer service have been very good at responding, although they do seem to get very confused about things.

Don't buy anything from this bunch. Almost everything I bought died in the first year - raspberries, blueberries and gooseberries. You will receive tiny, weak plants that struggle to survive.

Terrible customer service. I have emailed twice about a refund and heard nothing back. Plants arrived dead, unbelievable that they had been packed in such a condition. I wouldn't recommend this seller.

Had 2 hanging baskets send out the baskets were in a very poor state box all ripped open baskets tipped over plant and compost was in bottom of box the packaging was useless would have been better in a carrier bag got in touch now got to wate a mouth for 2 new baskets this is not on as I order in January for May delivery very poor service in my book

Possibly the worse customer service EVER! I placed an order on 14/5/22 and received an order number and email confirmation of my order. My bank account shows the payment being taken on that day. The email said it was scheduled for a “dispatched in 24 hours” delivery. After over a week I had still received nothing. I emailed “customer service” (the most inappropriate name ever!) to receive not so much of an apology but stating that although I had received an email and an order number, the order had not been placed. I was asked to provide further information (90% of it I had already submitted but they had not bothered to properly read my email) and then received further emails stating the order didn’t exist, despite confirming the money had been taken from my account. How can you possibly trust a company whose own systems send confirmatory emails, give you order numbers take your money then none of their systems have any record of any of this???? Genuinely appalling customer service, what an utter waste of my time and money. I am still awaiting anything even remotely resembling a helpful reply from them. Truly appalling. Will not be ordering ever again!!! Sadly, I made the mistake to pay to join their “members club” - don’t be fooled this company does not have the infrastructure to support online business. Please, do yourself a favour and avoid them, still waiting for my refund/order to arrive at the time of writing.

waited 7 days for 3 melon plants finaly got them in a pretty bad state, poorly packed and 2 badly damaged, totally dissapointed with this company, doubt i would ese them again.

Why oh why did i do it again. I thought I would try the plugs again. Between 25 and 50% of them arrive virtually dead each time. I planted the rest in a good compost mix which I would normally pot on in and they all die - this is not the first time. Just a very bad idea!

Customer service team didn't appologise for forgetting to cancel my order. I cancelled my order 2 or 3 days before despatch, but they did not reply to my email and when my products arrived, they were severely damaged. One of them had mould on it because it was in transit for over a week. I was so disappointed because I had ordered them specifically on the basis that they would be dispatched within 48 hours like it said on their website. It's clearly just false advertising because it was over 2 weeks before they were dispatched. The customer care team didn't appologise when I told them one of the plants was mouldy. They said it was water marks and they wouldn't refund me any money because it didn't meet their 'poor quality' standards for a refund....

This is the last time I will ever buy from this company. Bought 12 giant fuschia plug plants, potted them on in good quality compost and one by one they are keeling over. Same thing happened last year. Why oh why did I repeat the mistake! Have some other plugs from a different supplier, potted on 8n the same compost, kept in the same environment and they're thriving.

I placed an order in February for bare rooted strawberries. They arrived in March with no green showing at all, but I followed the instructions in the package. Mid April and they are still dead as a dodo! I spoke to customer service on 25th March and a very nice lady said she would send out a replacement order. 12th April and still no replacement order has arrived, so I rang again and the man said they were due to be sent out on 16th April - 3 weeks after my call!!!! So I've cancelled the order and asked for my money back - let's see how long I have to wait for that. The redcurrant bush that I ordered is just a stick but I will persevere and hope I don't have to ask for a refund on that too! I definitely won't be ordering through T&M again. I'm not happy with the condition of the plants I've received or the speed of orders being sent out.

order no. W12311187 Aquileia like a tiny spider. Lavender head of a 5pence /1/4ins root Fuchsia was fine, as bought in a pot. after 3 weeks, they not much better. Rubbish plants. Not worth the money. wouldn't recommend

Aquilegia like tiny spiders............. Lavendar plants, Head like a 5 pence piece with less than half inch root!!. Penstemon, garden ready, not too bad Best of bad bunch, Fuschia, which was in a pot. Disappointing. No i wouldnt buy from you again.

Purchased a range of vegetable seeds from Thomson-Morgan. Tomato(yes I know this is a fruit) packet only contained six seeds. Broad beans 50 beans in pack 20 had been eaten by something leaving many tiny holes in them. 30 planted only 19 germinated. Peas 12 germinated out of pack of 50. Will never purchase again from them. Also told, whether this is true, that Suttons are part of Thomson-Morgan. Have found Mr Fothergill's seeds to produce much better results and there are many more seeds in the packets.

Bought Bumper Garden Collection a total of 72 plugs ( smallest plugs I have ever seen ) arrived on time, out of the 72 plugs I found that 13 plugs were crushed and dead. Recommend you buy from your local shop

Thompson & Morgan charge £4.99 delivery per plant on Wowcher and Groupon. They set the delivery cost WITH Wowcher and Groupon. So if you buy 6 plants, you’ll pay 6 delivery fees. It’s a scam.
