Thomson holidays system of downloading boarding passes and finding information is a joke, Never used such a useless system, you could learn a lot from EasyJet or Booking.com!

They didn't we had a h10 hotel room right next to the staff car park fine for my wife as she's deaf not for me car coming and going all hours of the day and night. I have a drop foot which make it difficult to walk the room couldn't have been further away from the facility's They told us we would have a sea view yes if you could look through the trees about 2 foot from the balcony which by the way never got the sun which made it chilly in the room at night. As far as the hotel goes it was excellent food etc. But Thomsons you need to do better like put a bomb up your couriers asses. As they left us to try and reorganise the room. Happy NO

We had booked to go to Jamaica with TUI in August, it would be our second visit to this hotel which is wonderfully by the way. I am a vulnerable disabled customer on personal independence payments with very low immunity and even though trips to Jamaica are only suspended until July I’m still not willing to get in a flight this year it’s too much of a risk for me. We were staying in a Riu Hotel and they have closed temporarily in Jamaica and the UK can’t fly there at present. I have explained my circumstances to TUI and I am aware I won’t get a refund (£250 at this point) but to cancel they’ve told me I can only rebook another holiday and transfer the deposit or pay another £250 to cancel it as they say we’d only paid half the deposit which we honestly didn’t realise. I am at present on 12 week lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak because of my vulnerable status and my husband has been laid off and that money would be a great deal for us to pay at this point. I am absolutely appalled at the lack of empathy I’ve received and have totally lost faith in TUI after this disgusting treatment.

We booked a 2 week holiday to Florida for 10 people. We booked a villa plus villa but on arrival the villa was dirty and needed a good clean. The outside area had empty glass beer bottles left round the pool and the tables ect had not been cleaned. The kitchen items were dirty so we had to wash them before use. We did complain and were offered another villa but on viewing it the size of it was only fit for 5 people and the area did not look safe so we had to stay where we were. We think thomsons should check all villas to make sure what we pay for is what we get.

Logged a complaint on line middle of Dec following a theft from our luggage at Sal airport on our return journey home. Still no answer from them. Advice for others travelling back from Sal don’t put duty free in your case. Thomson reps must know the thefts happen on a regular basis but don’t warn travellers.

Just boarded our flight, early, to be told we have a 55 min wait to take off. We are at Cardiff airport where very few flights take off, no explanation for delay

We booked a villa in Arenal Den Castell called Villa Garbo. Flight and car hire was great but when we arrived at the villa it was filthy and smelt very musty. The pool had not been cleaned because there was scum on the surface of the water. The maid turned up to change the towels 5 days into the holiday but not clean, two showers leaked so we had to use hand towels to clean up water hence we had to use bath towel for 5 days and as you can imagine they were filthy and pool man never came at all to clean the pool. We tried to call the Thomson rep Glynne but unable to contact him. We have been using Thomson shop for many years but this villa was very utterly disgusting. Having a dead rat in the garden didn't help either. Sorry thomson but you failed to achieve a thumbs up this time. Definately do not recommend this villa.

Hurricane Irma closed down Florida which is understandable. It's a natural disaster. I called Thomson on Thursday the 7th September to confirm they where still flying to Florida as other airlines had followed suit and cancelled their flights. We left Norwich and drove to London Gatwick. Arrived and checked in vehicle and room at the Sofitel. Got showered for Dinner. 15 mins before table 2 of 4 txts where sent. Your flight for 10:50 am to Orlando has been cancelled. I then received a call it was Thomson. No alternative not even a week later. No hotel for us or flights. Not very helpful. More than £300 out of pocket with hotel, parking and fuel. It's taken 3 weeks to recieve a full refund. The manger gave me the card machine for a refund and asked me to confirm the amount and enter my pin. She then discovered she had put it through as a transaction!!! Never again. Should have stuck with Virgin Holidays. I guess it's a lesson learnt. All 're booked with Virgin Holidays as they fly all year round. Not when it just suits there profits. Thomson is changing to Tui . I'm not surprised.

Do NOT use this airline. They don’t even deserve 1 star. Jet 2 always! TUI gave me an ultimatum last year. They said I had 3 days to make a decision whether to RISK losing my holiday altogether & all the money I’d paid by cancelling (if Spain wasn’t considered a red zone I wouldn’t be refunded COVID money) or I could postpone my holiday to the following year for £50 each. I postponed it at this time to October 2021 as was too scared to lose the £1200 I paid for my holiday. I phoned up to try and cancel my holiday today 26.4.21 (due to anxieties regarding COVID) and was told I’d lose £650 due to £400 cancellation fee (£200 per person) and id also lose the amendment fees which I’d paid to move dates etc because of COVID (which was encouraged to do by TUI). So I’d be left with £550 out of a £1200 price paid? Absolutely sickening. Jet 2 refunded all their customers without even asking what they wanted- refunds given to every passenger rapid. Whereas all TUI have done is cause anxiety and stress. They charge you for EVERYTHING. I then asked to make a complaint but was told they don’t have a complaints line and if I wanted to do this I’d have to seek legal advice? Which they know people won’t do as lawyers are costly. I am NEVER booking with TUI again. Sickened and disappointed.

I have had three holidays cancelled by TUI due to Covid. The first cancellation was back in March 2020. I was informed by e mail that since I booked in store I would have to wait until my store re-opened for a refund. My store did not re-open for 8 long months. However, I did get a further e mail saying I would be issued with a refund credit followed by a booking incentive. I was told I could not even begin to apply for a refund without these documents and I never received either. I did eventually manage to contact them by phone (3 months later) and transferred to a holiday for summer 2021. That holiday has now been cancelled. I understood that TUI had now made a commitment to refund within 14 days following many complaints to the CMA. This is not happening. I was told on my e mail someone would ring to discuss my options. I did receive a phone call a week later but the person said they could only re-book the holiday and as I wanted a refund that a member of the refund team would have to ring me. I was promised this would be within 14 days. It is now over a month and nobody from the refund team has contacted me. It is impossible to get hold of TUI. I am working and do not have the time (nor the bank balance) to hold on a phone for hours waiting for them to answer. Any e mail sent to TUI is bounced back saying they are not monitoring e mails and I am directed to a link which shows me how to book a holiday. I have sent a recorded letter to head office but it was duly ignored. I would not recommend TUI to anyone.

Watch out! Tui do not take responsibility for the quality of their excursions. My son ended up in intensive care in Jamaica after catching Samonella eating a prepaid meal as part the excursion. Or it could have been the hotel Rui Negril, other people were ill. He and his girlfriend spent most of their holiday in hospital and had reoccuring illness.

The worst company 😡. Been trying to get hold of them for a week now trying to get my money back from a cancelled holiday due to Covid 19. Surprisingly you can get through to pay the rest of your holiday but you get tour call cancelled or on hold when you want your money back. I got through to someone through the payment line, they took all of my details and as soon as I said I want a refund they wasnt interested and told me to ring a number which said it wasnt being used anymore!!! Disgusting behaviour and business. I will never book with a big company again!!!!

Customer service does not exist. I want to cancelattion our vacation, to which we have the right, because two of us have lost our jobs and we can't afford to pay the holidays. However, you cannot connect to TUI because the telephone lines are selected. I don't have a live chat and can't provide an email address. The same holiday cannot be changed via the Internet. In any case, we need an answer before April 14. I know these are hard times, but there really should be a way to contact TUI. Customer service does not exist.

We were denied check as we were 4 minutes late this morning and have now been told we will lose 100% of our package holiday. This is absurd we were late by 4 minutes only, plenty time to clear customs and board, minutes late and this is how we have been treated, told deal with it with your insurance company

Tui demanded £40 to give me a seat near the toilet due to my age and health condition, tui refused to provide me with a seat near the toilets without the additional charge of £40 "one day Tui CEO will get old"

Contacted Tui after I had several complaints with a hotel I stayed at through them. I wrote a long detailed list including the fact I contracted SALMONELLA POISONING (confirmed by public health england) They did not read any of the detailed complaints thoroughly and as such did not address or answer any. Basically the inadequate training of their staff replied to me by basically sweeping it under the carpet. Its madness because if it had been addressed correctly I would not now be on a mission to highlight all of the complaints through every review site I can find.

Appalling customer service. Booked a cruise over a year ago now they are making significant changes to the itinerary a few days before we fly. No option to cancel and very poor compensation. Their Customer Service department replies to emails if they feel like it. The option is 'you book what you want, we will supply what we want'. I think that with Thomas Cook going bust these people feel they can do what they like; avoid.
