Returns are impossible! Mine ended up costing $20 to return a single $26 bowtie. Dont bother!

Hi! Sorry the tie was not what you expected. People obviously have different preferences when it comes to thickness. I will see if we can communicate the measurements in more detail on our product pages. Free return shipping is a tricky question for all ecommerce. We could offer that but would then have to raise our prices instead. Also, free returns tend to be abused, causing unnecessary costs and a strain on the environment. You should though be able to find a cheaper return option than $10. Just reusing the package the bow tie came in, adding the return address sticker from the receipt and applying normal stamps is enough and should be a lot cheaper.

I recently ordered a black self-tie bow tie and a cummerbund. I did so because of my past dealings with Tieroom.com. When I received them I was honestly shocked at the inferior quality of the product. The bow tie was so flimsy as to make it appear as a Halloween costume prop. The material of the cummerbund was better but the fastening arrangement was a rigid Velcro system which allowed for zero movement which would occur in the mid-section during routine standing, sitting, etc. I returned the items in question immediately and I have complete faith in Tieroom.com that a refund will be forthcoming. I said "shocked" earlier because I have numerous, quality made neckties and pocket squares in my wardrobe from Tieroom.com and I treasure them! I will continue to purchase those products from Tieroom.com without hesitation. Good Day!

Material was not 100% cotton like stated...I needed to dye this bowtie and pocket square but instead of being cotton like stated...it was synthetic...100% not happy with losing 40 bucks

Hi, Aristotoles is indeed 100% cotton. It's made from material we have sourced directly ourselves. Just to be sure, I took one now and did the fire test. It burns exactly as it should has no smell of plastic and doesn't become a yucky smudge as polyester does. It's likely the problem is the original coloring does not play well with the dye you used. I'm sorry you didn't achieve what you had planned. I would recommend looking for an alternative in uncoloured cotton.

The ties I ordered looked nothing like the online pictures. They werent even the same colors! I had to pay to ship them back for false representation.

Hi there,sorry to hear you were displeased with your products. Color rendition on screen is tricky business - no matter how much we work with images (and we work a lot with images) it's perfectly possible that how you see them on your screen differs (different color settings, light settings, color profile, saturation etc). This is something that seems to be very difficult to get around altogether for web shops. In some cases the images are indeed bad, and need re-making, but we've actually never had any complaints about the images of the two products mentioned by you. I assure you we always do our very best, and most of our customers are more than pleased with both products and service ? we have a 4,7/5 feedback rate across our 9 countries' markets ?and we put a lot of effort into color rendition. Accusing us for false representation seems a bit harsh. We would gain absolutely nothing by deliberately trying to deceive our customers, rather the contrary. You're of course free to return the products for a refund.
