“Placed my order last week and stressed that we could only accept order the following Monday as the delivery address is a renovation and someone would only be on site then, I was told don't worry it would be delivered then, the person who was accepting order for us got a call on the Thursday before to say delivery driver was at property but he couldn't get over to accept order as he was still 350 miles away, he told them to come back Monday when he would be there, waited all day for delivery, nothing arrived by 4.30 so rang to see what was happening, was told order would be there by 5 to 5.30 , no order at 6.15 tried to ring again phone lines closed, he waited till 7pm no order, he left and then got a phone call around 8.30pm to say order would be there shortly.”

“Product good, price good however some of the delivered goods were wrong - an error that Tilefix said was their fault - it was quickly sorted and the company was easy to contact - would I use them again?- Yes”

“The first time I bought with trade fix I bought Orbry boards in volume and they came on a pallet NO PROBLEMS GOODS GREAT!!! Next time 20 sheets of Marmox 4 MM sheets on TNT and every corner was battered I ended up after complaining and getting told to try and use them, cutting 40mm off both ends to give me a chance of using them. I hope to be given a discount if I order again but maybe not.”

Hi Richard, thanks for your review and sorry to hear some of your boards were damaged by the courier. Our customer services team noted that not all boards in your pictures were damaged - and when they offered to replace the damaged ones you had already passed these on to the installer. “Delivery, despatch and communication excellent but I had a lot problems with the website. I tried to open a account a few times but didn't work. I was asked for a pass word which I put in after which I tried to purchase. The pass word was promted and filled in automatically but wasn't excepted. The only way I could purchase was as a guest at a hirer price. Took to long nearly gave up. Regards Roger”

Unfortunately the suggested password feature is not part of our website, but part of your browser, so we would not have any control over this. The prices on Tile Fix Direct are the same whether you are logged in to an account or checkout as a guest - so you do not pay higher prices when you checkout as a guest. “Good website and everything came as ordered. Some of the tile backer boards had been damaged in transit which I didn't notice until the delivery van had gone. In terms and conditions is states that you must check all items for damage but this is quite difficult when you have 12 boxes. So make sure you check for damage even if the delivery man has to hang about for some time!”

“Used price matching service. Was a bit cheeky, as they claimed the price-match i gave was only for in-store delivery (so wouldn't honour it). I live in Northern Ireland, so they then charged £10 delivery for a lightweight item. Overall, Not Impressed, but had no choice to use them due to time limit.”

Thanks for leaving a review, our price match terms & conditions clearly state that the price must be based on an equivalent service. Regarding delivery charges, we only pass on the cost of delivery - we do not make any money on our delivery prices.

“Goods arrived on time but all the packaging was in very poor condition, this was also flagged up by the courier. One or two pieces of sellotape is no way to secure heavy items. Fortunately the goods themselves survived transit intact. Difficult to rate poor packaging but good service = normal Iguess....”

“i bought 20 boards from tilefix,..i thought i was buying cement hard boards, i got 6 mm waterproof boards..i don't know if it was me or their description... but it was not what i thought i was buying.. good quick service tho..”
