“Solid piece of equipment. This is my 2nd hay spear from Titan and works as intended. A suggestion that I would make after learning from my 1st one was to add a lock nut to the 2 smaller, stabalizer bars. This will help make sure that the bolts do not work loose causing you to lose a stabalizer bar. I also upgraded the bolts to Grade 8 to reduce the risk of shearing them when tightening them. That little change coupled with the locking nut is an easy modification that can help ensure you don't lose the stabalizer bars.”
“The implement itself seems to be just fine. I"ve seen some that have a safety chain to prevent the implement from slipping off in case the screw clamps fail, this particular model doesn't include that. I'm happy with it and it does just what I expect it to. Note: the metal cage around mine was very damaged. Very bent up and broke a few welds. It had a significant impact or was dropped from a decent height. Of course I do not blame Titan for the damage that occured during shipping. Mine arrived strapped to two very nice pallets. No way the damage occured while strapped to them. In addition the local carrier sat on my order for a week before contacting me. They only deliver once a week to my location. So I had to wait. I have purchased several differant items from Titan and been happy with their products.”
“Great looking set of forks. This is my second pair that I have bought from Titan. The first pair was the Econo line also.
These forks are a little heavier than the others, but I really like them with the back brace, which was only 20 pounds more to the unit. I wish they siend a small can of touchup spray paint with everything they selll. always a few nicks here and there from shipping. I have these on my John Deere 2305 with 200 CX loader.
Definitely recommend tve forks to everyone.
so much cheaper and just as good as the John Deere forks”
“The fork extention attachment is a quality made heavy duty unit. A couple suggestions for improvement. One, the lifting eye hole on the bottom of the extention forks prevents the unit from setting on the floor and picking up a pallet. We cut it off. Two, the pain was chipped off of the unit upon receipt. We suggest quality durable equipment paint that won't chip.”
“Only used once so far but it worked perfectly. The quick connect ends seem like they would be better with a 90 degree on them I'm sure I’m going to bee making a holder for the excess lines. They appear they will pinch sooner rather than later.”
