“Bought an Android TV box that advertised 5G networking capability and shipping within 24 hours. As I heard nothing after giving them the money, I wrote to them 20 days later and finally they ship the device. No 5G capability at all. Item appeared to work except when I loaded a legitimate app from the Google Play store, it failed to run because the device had been 'rooted'. Could not get a response to see if it was a factory root job or I got a 'returned' item that someone rooted, failed and then returned it. Now, after multiple duplicate emails from them, they finally give me a return address to Hong Kong. My order number used in all communications and on the sales receipt does not match the order number they want me to put on the package. I strongly suspect they will receive the item with the wrong order number on the outside and then tell me they did not receive my returned item. Hopeless to deal with. They cannot understand questions and come back with duplicate generic responses. I will check return costs tomorrow to see if it is even worth sending it back to them. Stay away from this company!!!!!!!!”

“I ordered a product almost a year ago. As I enquired about not having received it, I was told there were issues with covid. A few months later, having not heard about Tomtop, I contacted them again. They said that their supplier had raised the price, so they would send me the item I had ordered if I paid for an additional amount. I think this type of practice is totally dishonest.
1- they banked my payment and their treasury benefited for a a whole year.
2- I am the one who should be compensated for not having received my order a year later.
3- Their problem with their supplier is not my doing.
4- Had I not contacted them twice, they would have happily forgotten about me.
5- I have asked for a refund and am still waiting for it. They keep telling me it's happening and I cannot get a date for when.
