I tried to book a return flight UK-Dubai for 2 people at a cost of £1220 but payment wouldn't go through and when I called customer service they said that this was because this fare is no longer available and the new fare is £1289 - even though I had gone through the booking process and confirmed the booking!! What a waste of time. They assure me that they haven't taken payment but I'm going to check right now and then book with someone else.

Absolutely horrendous! Ended up charging me £557.85, twice! The room was only supposed to cost £272.18. The unhelpful phone staff stated, prices fluctuate. I stated, yes but not AFTER I click confirm! I've never written a review before, but I am so annoyed with this scam of a business. I asked if I was the exception, but the member of staff said, no people swear and shout at us all the time! Stay away people and check your bank statements. 1 star, is 1 too many.

Within an hour of giving them my credit card, I had 3 fraud charges show up around the world.

please be totally aware this company is very harmful, absolutely a rogue , they hold my money drag on for over 7 month , airline told me to refund me and ask them to refund me ,but they still drag on forever, because there no law enforcement can punish them , I spoke to few solicitors already , but advised no worth it because solicitor will charge you more then what they owe you , the court will not give any compensation for haring a solicitor, shock, for UK sick law system we have to pay much more to get this ticket money back .... so possible only way is to citizen bureau maybe ...i have all evidence , they cause me huge hassle, loses and effort .... is there any well experienced solicitor can help, take them to court for purposely violet consumer right ? they caused me to stay outside the UK for some month and caused me to bought two separate tickets to be able back to home in UK....can anyone help to punish them ...

The worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with. I found them very difficult and unhelpful. In a stressful situation they seemed to make the situation worse. Speaking to them was difficult and not easy to understand. I will never use this company again.

Don't by any means use these amateurs. They take your money and literally do nothing else! All I wanted to do was book luggage he said can't do it call british airways I waited a whole Hour for him to tell me that when I called british airways They said it's the agent you booked from they must do it. Travel up are rude unhelpful worse customer service ever experienced.

Rip off merchants. Wanted to charge £490 to change the date of my return flight. Cheaper to book a new return ticket on other sites.

I booked a hotel through TravelUp for two nights. I paid cancellation insurance fee. Due to bad weather I couldn’t make it to my destination for the first night. I emailed and called them( no answer but left a voice message) early in day to cancel the first night because of flight delay. When I got to my destination the following evening I took taxi from airport to the hotel only to be told my reservation was canceled because I was a no show. I called TravelUp and spoke to a gentleman who said they had notified the hotel and will work on getting my money back. Later they email me to say that the hotel will not refund me.

Hi everyone, I never leave reviews but I spent £600 on a flight which was cancelled and they had the nerve to only refund me £23!! On top of this, they were making the refund process incredibly hard and difficult by asking me to confirm my card details etc. which im sure you all know is very unusual and there's no need for it. i urge you to go with someone else. they are a fraud!

I had a reservation more than a month before my Trip and have to cancel but travel up charge $20 per person per night they ripped me off I never will spend a penny with them and trivago just be careful when using trivago

Very bad company! Avoid! Book confirmed and then rang me cancelling it and try to give more expensive options.

DO NOT USE TRAVELUP. . . . .booked hotel. Ten days later, no hotel. Called to check, rudeness. Called to cancel, gave me a run-around. I should have known that their prices were too good to be true.

Disgusting service, advertise cheap hotels and later email you advising the hotel you have just paid for is no longer available.

We booked our flight tickets via Travelup six months in advanced only to be notified two month prior to travel that they will have to make flight changes otherwise we have to cancel tickets with no refund. Travelup agents who say they operate from uk have all staff speaking in foreign accent have told us on two separate occasions to either take the change that they are offering or loose the ticket with no refund, and blame the airline companies for making such changes.

I would give 0 stars if this was an option. The worst travel company I dealt. Had to cancel a hotel. Even though it stated "Free Cancellation" until a certain date, they still charge a admin fee of $20 per person. Rip off. I will never use this company again. Beware.

Having booked a long haul flight DIRECT to japan and paid in full (£1251). This company then sent me my conformation and tickets for a 1-STOP flight via MOSCOW. Very bad customer service has been received by them and no help at all, deceitful staff, not returning call's and NO REFUND given. Had to get Barclaycard involved too issue proceeding against them, lucky for me I used my visa/credit card and was protected. Will never use this company ever again and don't recommend anyone else to use them either. I have never had this problem in booking & traveling over the last 20yrs until now.
