“A unique remembrance gift for the loss of a loved one. It was received with great appreciation and they truly loved it. Fast and friendly service, complete with a thank you email from the company, which I thought was a nice touch. And what’s not to like about rebuilding our forests? I will use this again in the future to honor our loved ones and I’m glad I found this.”

“We are fortunate to have found Trees For Change. It is a perfect memorial for a loved one who has passed. This is a gift that goes beyond flowers. It allows for a little plot of earth the family can feel an attachment to, as they watch the growth of the tree planted in their loved one's memory. The pine tree has long symbolized peace and harmony -- what we all wish for the world. What greater honor could there be than being a part of the restoration of our national forests. “I loved the idea of planting new life to celebrate the deceased and found that this was one of the few non-religious ways that I could do so. The service (sending out certificate describing where tree was planted) was very timely. Although I only planted one tree this time, I do love the idea of continuing to plant trees in the future or even opting to plant a grove. I will most certainly be using Trees for a Change again!”

“The new life from a planted tree in a forest is a great idea to acknowledge the life of someone who is loved and will be missed by so many. We hope the tree will be as successful in it's growth and life as 'SKIP' was. Would like to see the tree in about 30 years from this time. Thanks so much to those who planted the tree. What kind was it?”

HI Darlene- Thank you for your review. We plant trees that are always native to the area. In this case, Skip's tree will be a ponderosa pine, Jeffery pine, Douglas fir, sugar pine or incense cedar.
