“Some of the truffles looked good but a lot of them were off and then after tasting some we were very misled as they had all lost there flavour NOT BUYING AGAIN”
“Extremely disappointing!!! I purchased a fresh white truffle for my wife's birthday, after a very nice experience with trufflehunter.co.uk a year ago. But this time the product came in an unacceptably stale condition. We prepared the truffle on the evening of the delivery day, to make sure to enjoy it as it's freshest. But it tasted and smelled of nothing!! It was completely stale, at least 7-10 days old. In addition, the customer service did little more than to point us to their T&Cs for a refund of any unconsumed quantity, and offered a paltry 35% discount on any future purchase. This is unacceptable, both regarding the quality of the truffle and the service policy. Spare yourself the disappointment and avoid this company for your fresh truffles deliveries.”
“sent signed for delivery and despite the fact that there are contact numbers on the door royal mail despite the outer package warnings didnt deliver until the 3rd occasion 14 days after it was sent. £70 worth of truffle spoilt/mouldy!”
“I purchased an item from the website in the hopes it would arrive in time to be included in a birthday gift hamper. I was provided a Royal Mail tracking number that never updated and after a week called to speak to someone. I was advised there seemed to be some logistic issue but they could see my order. I asked for a refund and was told I would be called or emailed. This is after I had already sent an email to customer service with no response. Following the call I made, I received a generic email the next day advising my order had been closed. Thankfully I received a refund within 48hrs but what a horrible experience. I won’t be using them again.”
“Love your salt but the shaker doesn’t close so my salt split. I enjoy the sprinkler and spoon function but if they don’t close adequately then you loose half your salt!”
“Pretty poor quality truffles, very small and rock hard, taste was very…off? Took longer than it said to arrive. Overall pretty disappointed with the whole experience. Wouldn’t recommend any time soon”
“Didn't understand from website that could order after 15.12.20. Wanted truffle for xmas and ordered for delivery 15.12.20.Googled how long truffles kept for and read 9 days ish. Arrived early, only 4-5 day life.... wasted my money.”
