“The fish arrived DOA. There was no obvious damage to the packing, but the interior bag size and padding was less robust than other quarantined fish vendors I use. These things happen, but I assume that the claims department does not work Fridays and weekends as I did not hear back from them about store credit, and was attempting to order a replacement fish.”

“Received 3 Pyramid Butterfly and 3 Schooling Bannerfish. One of the Pyramids was DOA while one other was clearly in distress and the 3rd was fine. The water of the DOA was very polluted. The Bannerfish were in better condition but for some tears in the long top fin of on of them. It has been about 27 hours since introduction and the pyramids are beginning to recover but still appear to be fatigued. Bannerfish have fully acclimated. Other than that waiting for my refund on the DOA.”

We’re sorry to hear that one of the three Pyramid Butterflies did not make it. Pyramid Butterflies are a particularly sensitive species, and this order traveled nearly 3000 miles through a third party shipping network. While these services allow us to safely get livestock to customers across the country, there is understandably more stress involved than with a short trip to a local LFS. As stated in our DOA policy, which is agreed to when creating an account, we provide 100% DOA coverage in the form of store credit sent via email, not a cash refund. We’re happy to issue the DOA credit as outlined in our policy, and are glad to hear the other fish are recovering from their trip and hope the continue to settle in and thrive!

“This was my first time ordering a fish online . The process was very easy and I was informed when the fish would be out of Quarantine . The fish arrived packed very securely fish swimming actively in the bag . The fish is doing very well and is active and healthy. Will be ordering from TSM aquatics again .”

“My experience with TSM has been great! Half of the fish in my 120 are from TSM. All arrived healthy and free of any pests. Same for the corals I have too. My recent coral delivery was delayed due to FedEx. The package was originally expected to be delivered Friday, but due to a shipping issue it didn't delivery until Monday, then sat on my porch all day until I got home from work. I had low hopes, but the coral were alive and healthy.”

“The Gem Tang appears to be excellent thus far. Fed Ex although is a complete failure. I must tell the story. Receive "delivered" notice but no box anywhere. I look at delivery photo which indicates another location, Frantically I search nearby for box at locations with similar front doors as the photo. No luck. I go to security at the font gate (gated community). Security goes on a search and retrieves the box 3 streets away from the delivery address randomly selected by Fed Ex driver. Unknown reason. Security team is the hero here. Fed Ex calls 3 days later "Hey, did you find your package?". "Well it is a LIVE FISH as stated all over the box. Did you not notice? 3 day response time meant a complete casualty Mr. Fed Ex". No response.”

“A while back, I introduced a fish to my tank without quarantining, and unfortunately lost all of my fish to ich. After a fallow period, I decided that I’d spend a little extra in the future, and make sure I only ordered from reputable sellers with a full quarantine process. I ordered six fish from TSM, and they arrived four days ago, packaged with care. After introducing them to my tank, they’re all doing very well. Everyone’s eating, and the more timid fish are starting to get a little more confident. All of these fish are extremely healthy, and it’s clear that a lot of care has been taken in the quarantine process.”

“I am very pleased with my first purchase through TSM. I pre-ordered an emperor angelfish and on delivery day, we had some storms rolling through. The delivery was delayed but I was able to go to the shipping hub after hours and because it was a live animal, they managed to find it for me. Once home, I found everything was packed extremely well and the little guy did not miss a beat. It has been in the tank for two days now, it looks fantastic.”

“Packing was excellent. Heat packs were still hot. Customer service was great. I wanted to change my order and Josh was more than accommodating. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the size of the frag. It was maybe the size of a pin head. Very expensive for that size. Look at pictures closely.”
