“It is a gem. You leave feeling you’ve escaped the chaos of the world for a few hours. My only criticism is that some groups of women see it as the time and place to shriek scream and talk at a volume that literally made my head ache. There are several notices asking for peace and quiet but it’s completely ignored. People of course need and should talk - but at that deafening volume? Perhaps the staff could reinforce this request at booking?”
“I really enjoyed a women's only morning in the spa on Thursday morning. It was quiet and relaxing. The spa was clean, and products used were high quality. I would like a stronger 'spa smell' throughout, but the aromatherapy room smelled nice. A larger choice of magazines in the relaxation room would also be nice - I forgot to bring my own. Towels and robes were provided, and were fluffy and clean. A facial with Olivia was really excellent, and she kindly offered to wait 5 minutes after my alloted time to give me time for a drink, which was very thoughtful - my skin was glowing after. There are some finishing touches that would make the non-spa spaces (toilets, corridors) feel more luxurious rather than clinical/office-like (e.g. nicer soap dispensers, fragrance/plants/ornaments in the toilets, hand towels instead of noisy hand dryers, artwork on the walls) but that's more about feel - everything was functional and clean. I'll definitely return.”
