“I definitely do not recommend Tyreleader.
I ordered 2 tyres on April 11 via the Tyreleader website, selecting a nearby workshop with fitting listed at £13.51 per tyre (£27.02 total). After placing the order, I received no shipping information at all — the status only said: “Tracking currently not available.”
Customer service was unhelpful. I was repeatedly told to open additional tickets regarding delivery, even though I had already selected delivery to a workshop during checkout. For over two weeks, I received no meaningful updates.
On April 28, after losing patience, I requested cancellation and a full refund. Only then was I told that the tyres had already been delivered.
When I went to the workshop, I found out that:
the tyres had been there for quite some time,
the workshop does NOT cooperate with Tyreleader,
the actual fitting cost was £30 + 22% VAT per tyre (not £13.51),
alternatively, I could collect them myself but would have to pay a £50 storage fee.
This raises serious concerns: why does Tyreleader list this workshop as a partner, and where do these incorrect fitting prices come from?
Despite multiple messages with consultants (Alicia, Victoria), Tyreleader took no responsibility. Their position was simply: the tyres were delivered — everything else is my problem.
In the end, I was told it was my fault for not contacting the workshop myself — despite the fact that:
I repeatedly asked the seller for updates,
I was never given a tracking number,
I was instructed to open tickets about a delivery that had already been completed.
Summary:
no communication,
misleading information about workshops and pricing,
zero accountability.
I strongly recommend choosing a different company.

“Ordered two 19” tyres for the BMW as they were about £5 each cheaper than camskill. I was tempted just to go with Camskill as I was ordering the back tyres from them and thought will save a tenner and order from Tyreleader.
3 days later received tyres that are exactly 36 months old in a dirty condition. (DOT dated 1923 tyres received end of April 2026).
Contacted customer service and repedly fobbed off saying as they are technically not over 36 months nothing to complain about. (just for comparison, the back tyres from Camskill were dated DOT 1126)
Will not order from Tyreleader any more.”

I then made contact with the garage who said they have nothing to do with them and refused the delivery.
I ended up with a refund minus the £41 fee for the communication error even though it was a garage they told me I can use.
Shambles of a company and there is no communication unless it's escalated via email.

I ordered two Radar Dimax R8+ tyres (245/35 ZR18 92Y XL Run Flat) on 29/11/2025 (Order #30933022) from Tyreleader.co.uk, choosing delivery to Altyre Services at 159 Altyre Avenue, Glenrothes KY7 4PZ because their website listed it as a fixed garage with £11 per tyre fitting. What followed was a complete disaster that has left me out of pocket, stressed, and without my tyres or a resolution.
First, the garage (Altyre Services): No notification when the tyres arrived. When I contacted them, they quoted £18.50 per tyre + £20 call-out – almost triple the advertised price. They claimed to be "mobile only" and refused to let me collect from the listed address. I asked if they could deliver – they mentioned the £20 fee but then refused that too and ghosted me. This feels like holding my property hostage to force overpayment. Unprofessional, shady, and zero customer service. Avoid this garage at all costs!
Tyreleader is just as bad – if not worse. Their website provides misleading information: A physical address that's apparently fictional, and fitting prices that are "informational only" but presented as fact. When I complained, their CS team washed their hands of it, saying they're not responsible for partners and any return would deduct €30 per parcel. This directly violates UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (CCRs), which require accurate pre-contract information (Reg 9-10) and start the 14-day cooling-off period only on physical possession (which I never got, per their own T&Cs Article 7). By partnering with dodgy garages and providing false details, they're breaching consumer law and leaving customers stranded.
I've lost all trust – no tyres, no fitting, and now fighting for a refund. Tyreleader's model is a scam trap: Lure you in with low prices, dump on unreliable partners, then charge you to fix their mess. Do not use Tyreleader.co.uk or Altyre Services. I'll be reporting to Trading Standards and pursuing a chargeback. Save yourself the headache – shop elsewhere!”

My car went in with 4 secure bolts and came out with only 3, unsafe to drive. The alloy was scratched, one bolt was destroyed, and the mechanic refused responsibility. This is not just bad service — it is a serious safety scandal.
When I reported this to Tyreleader, their response was basically “we only sell tyres, the garage is responsible”. In other words, they tried to wash their hands of the disaster caused by the very partner they recommended. Absolutely unacceptable!
End result: my car is damaged, unsafe, and my money was wasted. Buying from Tyreleader was a huge mistake. Anyone who values their car and safety should avoid this site.”

There is no mention that the tyres are old on there website.
I tried to resolve with Tyreleader but all they said is that as I didn't like it, I had to pay for the return of the old tyres.”

Used Blackcircles & Asda tyres before, no problems.
This time Tyreleader were £80 less than Blackcircles for a set of 4 tyres, so thought I’d give them a try - wish I hadn’t!
My 1 order of 2 front tyres & 2 back tyres (different sizes) got split into 2 separate orders, using 2 separate delivery companies.
One order ended up being cancelled and refunded as they couldn’t get the tyres apparently.
Whilst the other order was ongoing (thought I was gonna get them) this second pair took over a week to get to the wrong address at the other side of town & couldn’t be cancelled as they had been delivered (finally)
So I had to have the two delivered tyres fitted (once I’d got them to the right address) at a cost of £15 per tyre, even though they said £8 on the Tyreleader website.
Luckily they could get the other tyres for me at a reasonable cost and they managed to get them at 3pm the same day!
The whole thing was a hassle & cost the same as Blackcircles in the end, so given they’ve never given me any problems in the past, I’ll just use them again - You live n learn
Customer service was absolutely atrocious. No phone number to ring and seemed like a different time zone because they’d get back to your email 24 hours ish later.

“I have purchased 4 tyres from Tyreleader recently but I'm regretting it. I have used their "search by vehicle" option on their website to find suitable tyres for my car and then I made the purchase based on their recommendation. Everything went smoothly, till the day I went to the fitting. Turns out, the information they provided on the website was wrong and I purchased wrong size. I was very surprised because I thought I can believe the information that I found on the website of a company that claims to be the expert in tyres.
Afterwards, I contacted the company to ask to return these wrong size tyres and order the correct sizes from them again. However, I was very surprised by their answer because they want to charge me 120€ return fee for a mistake that caused by the wrong information on their website. I'm very disappointed by the way they are handling this situation.”
