I used tyresonthedrive to replace 2 worn tires on my Nissan Qashqui. I picked them because I was moving house and had loads going on and the ease of having someone come out to me was a massive incentive. Tom arrived and did what I thought was a good job at the time. Only on further inspection did I discover that I had been left with 2 broken valves, a ruined set of caps, and a bill from my local garage of £700 to fix all the problems tyresonthedrive had left me with. I spoke to Martin Alldritt, apparently a senior operations co-ordinator at tyresonthedrive, and discovered they were prepared to do absolutely nothing about the damage caused to my car by their 'technician', or even admit doing anything wrong! They think it is perfectly acceptable to leave customers cars in an unsafe state to drive, and further more, are completely happy that their 'technician' tried to cover up the damage he'd caused to my car. Be warned, this company is a joke run by monkeys. The total bill to fix my car came to £744, so unless you have buckets of cash you're looking to waste I would give these fools a wide berth.

Do not use this service whatever you do!!!!! I had my tyres fitted by this company a couple of months ago. The fitter was very friendly, efficient and professional. However, after around a week one of the new front tyres they had fitted blew out on the motorway as I was approach one of the exits so basically I was driving on metal and trying to control my steering safely....luckily myself nor other road users were not killed!!!!! The breakdown service took my car to a nearby garage to get the blown tyre looked at and replaced. They then discovered that the electronic tyre pressure sensor had been completely destroyed because the tyre fitter from tyres on the drive had forced the tyre on. The owner of the garage kindly typed up a long explanation of this and enable me to take pictures of the evidence. I then telephoned tyres on the drive to report this incident and followed this up with an email with both the garage note and photos attached. I then received a phone call at approx. a week later where they told me that they would accept no liability for this and hence no compensation for the money I have had to pay to replace the tyre and the electronic tyre pressure sensor. They said that their 'excellence' team had fully investigated the incident and were adamant that it was not their fault as I was able to press 'ok' to get rid of the tyre pressure warning message in my car. They offered no apology and would not listen to my explanation. Take my advice and give this company a very wide birth!!!!!

On Saturday 29th October I had Tyres on the Drive come out and remove a locking wheel nut. The website reads "you could potentially save yourself £££s as our pricing far outweighs the cost to repair any damage caused to your rims, tyres or wheel nuts by trying yourself" - unfortunately this wasn't the case as whilst swinging a lump hammer, he missed the intended target and took a large chunk out of my alloy wheel - i'm pretty sure I could've done that myself. He then asked me to sign a document, which I assumed was to confirm that he had completed the work. Nothing was explained to me so I just signed it - definitely my mistake. As it turned out, that was a waiver that I should have signed before to say any damage isn't their fault... I understand if the operation itself causes damage but this was sheer user error and bad practice, not the correct process. When he damaged the wheel, I decided it was pointless to have a go at him, as it wouldn't resolve anything and he isn't the complaints team so can't resolve the problem. I can just contact TotD and log my complaint with them. I received an email back today to explain that the damage isn't their fault, it's mine because I signed that form. So I'll probably have to fork out a couple of hundred pounds for a new alloy wheel now or at the very least pay about £100 for someone to try and refurb that one. I was planning on getting new tyres from TotD soon too, probably would have set me back about £600 but I think with the appalling service and complete ignorance to accountability, I'll take my business elsewhere.

Booked online around 2pm and then missed there confirmation phone call....called them back 10 mins later to be told that everything was bow booked and I would have to get it done another time.Explained I needed my car for work and was told there was nothing that could be done which was fair enough but how can a full day become booked up within the space of 10 mins.i was also offered the option of booking for a 2 hour window for an extra £4:99 online which I declined, glad I did as when I received a copy of my booking by email they had given me the 2hour slot for nothing....imagine if I had paid the extra money...overall I feel like let down.either they knew from the start the day was booked up and thought they could talk me into changing day to suit them or they just couldn't be bothered...either way not good for business.i eventually got my new tyre from a local tyre bay and believe it or not it worked out £15 cheaper...
