“I was given a driving experience as a gift that involved 3 supercars and a hot lap. Unfortunately I fractured my wrist and had to move to another date. The team were very accommodating and helpful which was great. On the day of the event I was still unable to drive so called and was given the option to go as a passenger which turned out to be a great idea because the U Drive staff sure know how to handle the cars better than myself. I actually had hot laps every time so I felt I had hit the jackpot. The drivers were informative and interested in good customer service which made the experience much better. If there was one downside it was the queuing system. Long queues and a bit of a rush then to get everyone through to the briefing. I appreciate safety is paramount so the receptionists were just doing their jobs but it just felt like queuing for 20 minutes was a bit excessive. Notwithstanding that the experience was amazing. As I had cancelled and rebooked a couple of times because of my fractured wrist I was offered a discounted return visit which I felt was a great gesture”

“Check in poor with no internet connection for payment. Had to wait 15 minutes in a queue of 3. Poor facilities for a wet overcast day which our was. I see from a separate review that the facilities were excellent...........they must have been at a different location. However, the induction was good and the drivers and cars were excellent. The drivers made you feel relaxed and were very encouraging.”

“Weather was terrible but it did not stop me from thoroughly enjoying the experience. The time was well organised and the cars were very impressive. I opted to have the video of my drives but only one correctly recorded - otherwise a good event. Thank you”

“All the staff were great and very friendly made to feel welcome And the feed back from the instructors in the cars was great and made to feel confident the only issues I had was with the media side RE photos and video It was a lot more expensive than I expected and it might of been down to the rather wet condition on the day but it was not working properly and the track could do with being a bit bigger due to the power on the cars, other than that a great time and would recommend to any one”

“I had a really nice day driving the car of my dreams. I had a hot lap included in my voucher too but it was quite misleading as I thought it was going to be done in the car I picked to drive on track, to find out it wasn't which was a bit disappointing.”

“Ferrari was unreal!! Although it was amazing to finally get a go in this car, there were so downfalls with the venue: TRACK: It was just a loop, fast on the straight, slow round the bend, fast on the straight again, didn't feel the track was long enough. HIGH SPEED THRILL RIDE: Was told at check in that i had the choice of the Subaru Or Mits Evo8, i wanted the Evo8 but guy driving said it wasn’t an option. So had no choice but to go on the subaru. Would defo do ferrari experience again, but just not at Heyford for the above reasons. Pics & video expensive - pics £25 for 10 pics, pic & video £45 but had to download on an app, if you want it put on an SD card then extra £10 on top - bit if a rip off to be fair! They could have an offer on the experience with photos included.”

“Well organised event.Staff friendly and knowledgeable,I didn’t know what to really expect on my first ‘airfield’ circuit but pleasantly surprised as could really put my foot down in the Caterham. Recommend this place ? Yep.”

“Overall a very enjoyable experience, however a couple of points to note: The entrance to the venue not easy to find and similarly not easy to exit - better signage required. Facilities a bit basic but adequate - no driving licence check on registration. I found the E-Type difficult but exciting to drive - the clutch in particular very fierce and juddery on third gear corner, but awesome acceleration. Purchased a video package which provided a good memory of the experience.”

“Venue easy to find. I arrived early and staff arranged for me to bring forward my allotted time. Briefing was clear and thorough. Siting lap in a minibus was not worth the £5 and to be honest it was not necessary. The instructors were pleasant, helpful and allowed me to get the most of my two drives. The track however was just a coned off area of a runway and not long enough or testing enough to really enjoy the driving sensation; I have been on much better and genuine racing tracks.”

“Overall the experience was good with the instructors in the R8 and Porsche providing guidance but allowing my son to control the vehicle. The only disappointment was the instructor during the Lamborghini drive, as he constantly took control of the steering.”

“This was a lot of fun, but I was a bit disappointed that a) the laps were so short, and b) the laps were simply set out by cones on a large expanse of concrete.”

“My son bought me a U Drive Experience for my birthday - knowing I’ve always wanted to drive the iconic E Type Jaguar. I was not disappointed! An amazing and exhilarating experience and one I’ll not forget - it was brilliant. It was a well organised event with friendly knowledgeable staff. I can thoroughly recommend them.”

“Heyford park staff are very good , debatable whether you need to take the insurance as just up and down a airstrip, and a few of the cars have duel brakes, wouldn't bother with a siting lap either. Instructors are very good and encourage to push as far as you can, but the acceleration zone is quite short.”

“Youngster thoroughly enjoyed his brief time at U Drive.Got to drive cars he will never drive again and at some speed. Professional instructors. Only marked down a point as it is very costly and the media people weren't the most helpful and informative. A nice hour all be it very expensive if you don't live nearby.”
