I did my driving experience down in Cornwall. I was charged to park on site which I wasn't happy about considering how much my partner payed for this day! The instructors were very helpful and friendly. The organisation was a bit chaotic but what ruined my day was the ignorant/ rude woman in the media centre! It was almost too much trouble for her to serve me! My sd card failed to record video and photos from 2 of my 3 drives but that didn't seem to worry her! She was only interested in selling me something rather than be bothered about the fact I didn't have anything from 2 3rds of my day. I was so disgruntled with her attitude, I left empty handed with no memories of my day and very upset about the whole thing! Not good at all!

Cars and instructors were brilliant. My only gripe was the organisation - it was utter chaos and I felt they couldn’t organise the proverbial p*** up in a brewery. My husband had a 2 car experience - Aston Martin DB9 and V8 Vantage. Booking was for 1:30 and after waiting till 4pm he was called for both cars at the same time. As a result he had to wait another hour for the second car as he was then pushed down the queue for this. Maybe a digital queuing system following check in with a time to report to the pit lane for your chosen vehicles would be better as having 5 different people calling different names just doesn’t work and only served to cause confusion. Fortunately the weather was good or I would only have rated the experience 1 star.

The "track" is a basic oval, so no real chance to see how the car handles. Whilst it was good to feel the power of the engine, it could have been a much better experience if you got actually drive it more.

Ferrari 360 was dirty inside and interior was worn out, was only allowed to rev it to 5000rpm and instructed on every up and down change from the instructor. Track was very busy so hard to overtake slower cars as you were not allowed to use the power. Different instructor in the Nissan GTR, he was happy for me to decide on gear changes and encouraged to push on to get over takes done on the slower cars, again the track was busy. But a better experience in the Nissan.

-This is a shortish round the cones drive not a track drive. I drove the E type .. good fun car with enthusiastic coach. and DB9 .. far too modern to be much fun. Bored unenthusiastic coach. Not bad but not what I was hoping for.

Driving experience was great. Photos and Videos were rubbish and not worth the money.

On my drives it was raining heavily and you had to be out in the rain to hear your name called for drives, would probably be a lot better in the sunshine. The track was very short and was actually only formed from cones so not easy to see corners of track. To be fair the cars that I drove were a bit tired (etype/am vantage) but good fun on the track although Aston a bit lacking in acceleration and with a saggy drivers seat meaning a very low seating. As the instructors have control of what happens in the cars I would have thought the chances of any bumps on the track unlikely and so £35 for excess insurance to be very steep when that sum would buy you excess insurance for car hire for a year. The pics and videos were also steep but under no pressure to buy. My visit was probably marred a bit by the heavy rain but still an enjoyable drive.

Sadly we can't help the rain, but good to hear that you did enjoy your drives in our classic cars. They are a bit worn as they are original genuine cars and over 40 years old!

I selected the E Type as the car to drive, I was a bit disappinted to be in a quite heavily modified track race car as I was expecting and wanting a 'normal' road car experience. I had to wait 35 mins over my booked time which was enough but all the staff were helpful and organised.

Aston Martin kept losing power on every straight. Too many cars on track, often caused a que at the corners. My session had to span 2 driving sessions because I chose to drive 5 cars. Porsche and Lamborghini were great fun. Overall a disappointing event.

Instructors are friendly and patient, cars are ok but the track isn't really a track it's just two parallel straights on the old runway with a loop at each end. The 'extras' are a bit extortionate. £35 damage waiver for 3 cars, £5 for a sighting lap in a minibus, £25 for photos, more for video, the list goes on. Overall was good fun but would have preferred a decent track with a bit more of a challenge!

Staff very polite course was very very short drove e type jag brilliant and the mustang the both cars I think I was on track for about 3 mins total pictures video insurance were just an excuse to get further money from you plus the sight lap in a bus was 30 seconds for a £5 would not recommend this site

Really good experience with excellent staff and the instructor made the drive real fun. My Father-in-Law couldn't drive due illness and the staff we kind enough to let me take his place. The track itself is relatively short but given the price I felt it was overall good value however slightly disappointed after I purchased the video to find I only got 5 laps when paid for 6. Still a good experience and thank you to the team.

The organisation of the session was very slick and all the staff very pleasant. However, I think that charging for the sighting lap is a cheek, especially in a bus which provides limited vision and in my case suffered door failure. Also, "three laps" is hardly a fair definition as the third lap is curtailed well before completion ti return to the pits. As the first lap is really an out lap, when you are trying to get familiar with the vehicle and the circuit, the experience is actually more like one and a half laps. I was on the classic cars and drove the Mustang and the Healey, I enjoyed experiencing the American muscle car but the Healey's impossibly idiosyncratic gear shift ruined that run for me.

Thank you Richard for your review, I will pass on your feedback on the Healey to the technical team.

This experience was not the first choice as Track Days failed to supply the Castle Combe Race Circuit and offered this as compensation. Had hoped for a proper track and not a coned circuit. Very wet weather and a small inadequate shelter meant it started with everyone soaked. The sighting lap was rushed and hard to see what the driver was gabbling about as we were past it so quickly. Just as it was possible to say that the high end and very powerful car felt under control, the laps were over so not much in the way of fun. The insurance waiver was not really needed unless planning to drive like a maniac and there were also dual emergency controls on the car. Very impersonal and merely another customer to plough through in the allotted timescale. Shame. This was a present from husband who bought it in good faith that I could experience a real track. Having done a number of experiences recently, this one didn't measure up.

We were rather disappointed with the whole thing, firstly we didn't know it was on an air field. Also the cars were rather old, the car we had chosen wasn't working at day however the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Also they offered us a discount on the photos as we didn't get our first choice of car.

The overall experience did not match how the event was promoted online as the facilities were very basic. Extra insurance costs were explained at check in so you felt pressurised on the spot for something that could have been included. The condition of the cars fell short of our expectations and the prices for doing a lap in a mini bus or saloon car seemed excessive so I did not add these to my experience. Overall I enjoyed the opportunity to drive different sports cars under the instruction of experienced drivers.

The day was wet windy there is no shelter from the wind or rain so we were standing outside getting wet and very cold while waiting for each car there was 5 of us my dad caught a cold and spent two days in bed because of this we spent a lot of money for there not even to have som kind of shelter against the elements we all enjoyed the car but getting in the car all wet dampened the experience we will not go again or tell anyone to do it cover for coustmers needed we are in uk not Spain

Sadly we can't do much about the weather and it was very extreme on Saturday, but we didn't really get any rain. The hospitality building is heated and like many of our customers you could have waited between sessions inside. I hope you Father feels better soon and glad to hear you all enjoyed the cars. Clare

The organisation on the day and the staff were suburb! Some of the cars have weathered better than others, track was covered in lose stones which hindered the experience. But overall the 4 car experience was good. Hot lap and sighting laps are pointless though.

overall the experience was good and a very fun afternoon out the venue was easy to find, and also it was well organised , bad bits were the track is too short and the 2 straight runs for accelerating weren't really long enough so its over very quickly if you do 3 miles which I believe is 3 laps they don't let you take the cars to max rpm I assume for wear and in cause of any damages so a bit disappointing takes the real experience away I thought and also they put exhaust silencers on as well again you don't get the full effect of the car but however the instructors are very nice and very friendly.
