Very bad experience... from the beginning to the end.. Parking issues -- long wait times The slots are not as provided in the booking, there are long wait times for registering/waiver ... and then we go into a car queue.. This car queue is a catch -- u are in Ready, 20 min, 40 min wait slots, then u move up from 40 to 20 and then to Ready.. but if someone who booked an earlier slot but tuned up late for their slot, they get their slot back i.e. cutting the 40 min wait time literally to nothing..... and you are now pushed from "Ready slot to 20 min wait slot, if there are 2 joining, there are chances u start your clock from 40 min slot. This happened with us.... from 0 to 40 in 3 sec. " Very Bad organisation, very bad venue, No seating area, very busy food van.. The whole thing was 3 hr 30 min wait for a 10-12 min ride.. Utter waste of time .... but it was an experience for a child.. They also give a link to check your status on your mobile --- however there is hardly any network there.. no display screens either to track.. so people are confused ...waiting for hours and no clue why they have been bumping up and down.

I purchased a voucher for a Junior Ferrari Driving Experience, as a birthday gift for a niece, just before the outbreak of the global Covid pandemic. Unfortunately, the recipient currently lives in Australia. And subsequently, was restricted for travel back to the UK, and the voucher became time expired. U Drive Cars has been unwilling to honour or extend the voucher or even offer a discount against a new one. No doubt they will claim their position is legally defensible. But I perceive U Drive Cars as a company that operates to the lowest standards of business practice and customer care. And as a Ferrari owner myself, I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

The Instructor for the Lamborghini on Friday the 13th was terrible at communicating. He was constantly repeating himself and not allowing me to drive in peace, making me very confused and irritated. At one point I lost control of the car and when I asked him if he braked, he said "just the once." There was no reason for him to brake. If he is anxious or nervouse, he should not be in the car. Also, the track is too short. The moment you get to a good speed, you have to brake quite quickly to get around the bend. That in itself is a danger.

Booked this experience through red letter days for my partner. Drove for over an hour to get to the event for it all to be over in 10 mins! He spend 5 mins in each car (2 cars booked) - by the time he had got use to the car it was time for him to stop! The track is far away so was difficult to film/take pictures of him in the cars. The £30 waver left a sour taste too. There was an option to spend £25 for 11 pictures (which is ridiculous and they are only available to be downloaded onto your phone - no print outs). I believe the safety briefing was longer than the driving experience. I would not waste your money.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. The track was a circle not a track, you had to pay for a sighting lap when there was only two corners. You had no chance to drive the car at any decent level. Could only rev to 6 thousands before you were told to change gear. I thought it was poor. If you had traffic in front of you, as in more than one car in front of you, your 3 laps were over before you could get going. I came to drive a sports car on a race track, not go for a Sunday drive. I won’t be recommending this experience to anyone. No value for money. Yes they are nice cars but might as well just go see them at a show as that’s how much fun I had.

The venue and track were so underwhelming it was hard to believe. Up and down a bit of runway which needed maintenance where a load of mini cones marked the route was pathetic The £5 cranky minibus tour run to view the track was hilarious. 12 people paid £5 to go at 15 mph up and down the cone laden runs. Well that’s £60 profit bagged for nothing The reception girls and trackside girls were so unfriendly and disconnected to the customers it was embarrassing. Not a single smile. The cars were in terrible shape. I drove a 20!yr old Ferrari which had seen better days. Not the slick car I had been expecting. And the in car communication was poor. The driver not even introducing himself. I still don’t know his name but I did introduce myself. I did not appreciate the fear close insurance. When it’s a £5000 excess for 10 minutes driving it is ridiculous!! Really? Highlight was the old boy who knew the history of the airfield and the guy who welcomed you and explained what was going to happen Oh. Nearly forgot. If you want 1 photo it was £25. Yep. £25. Well you got 1-12 photos but all pretty much the same so you only needed 1. Why not just charge £5 Anyway. I won’t be recommending this out fit to anyone. Pay more and go to a proper track where the experience is truly welcoming and professional. Your choice. I’ve made mine. Couldn’t wait to leave.

Hi Steve, your review is not what we like to read especially as our company ethos is to make sure everyone has a good experience with us. We all work hard to deliver this and we have so many positive reviews and feedback. I'm sorry that you left us feeling so negative and critical. I will take your feedback to the team and discuss. Unable to get to the driving experience due to a massive accident on the motorway, we rang the office to ask if we could reschedule. Having no control over the situation were told that we would not be able to. I would have thought that this could be sorted out at least with a partial refund. I bought this as a Christmas present and my husband was very disappointed to miss it.

The first drive in the E type Jag was very good. The instructor knew the car inside and out and was very passionate about the vehicle and that came across in giving instructions on driving the car. The second drive in the Aston Martin DB9 was very disappointing. First of all the instructor did not know where to plug the memory stick in to video the drive in the end as it was taking too long I told him not to bother and also when driving around I was asking questions about the car and the instructor could not answer a single question on the car engine size or even model of car. Overall the second drive to me was not an experience and as it was a birthday present it was very disappointing and I would not recommend it to anyone. Finally after the build up to driving the cars it was a damp squid at the end as there is no debriefing or anyone to ask you how your drive went. Very disappointing and a bit of a flop.

Dear Kerry Thank you for the feedback on your drive with us and I'm delighted you enjoyed the E Type Jaguar. Your drive in the Aston was not up to our usual standard and I apologise for this. Your instructor in the Aston was a new instructor to us, who was brought in at late notice to cover illness at short notice. I have fed back to our event manager your comments so that we review our processes for new instructors. If you had discussed this with us on the day we could have rectified your experience, but thank you for the feedback afterwards. Clare

Was very disappointed you wouldn't change dates for a funeral of a best friend. Not only did you rip me off for the day, you had the nerve to say I could book another day with 30% discount . And mug me again, then another £30.00 just to change a name. What a con. This was a birthday present from my grand children.

the driving experience itself was an amazing experience, but, i was booked into the 1PM slot and didn't get near the car until 1.55 PM, the driving was all over within 10 minuets, included in my package was a hot lap, it wasn't specified at any point what car this would be in, assuming it would be in the car my driving experience was in but with the instructor driving it, it wasn't, the wait for this then was another hour, several instructors were standing around including the instructor who previously did the hot lap in this car, but no one did anything about it, when asked i was simply brushed aside to make room for the new customers who pay on the day and somehow get priority over customers who have booked online months in advance. the track itself is a boring flat oval, marked out with some cones, driving this consists of accelerating, braking, turn left and do the same all over again, the straights arn't even long enough to get any decent speed out of the car. the photos at the end of the session are all the same as each other with the car being photographed with the camera not even level. there's no opportunity to look at the cars before or after the event.

Your lack of flexibility have transformed a nice present into a headache. Worst experience ever. I'll spend time making sure the Internet forum is fully aware of the poor service you guys provide.

Not what I expected, thought it would be a proper track not land with cones laid out, in the brief before heading out the guy made it sound like a track by mentioning the apex on the track. Car didn't feel very stable overall wasn't what I expected and most of all was not the experience I was expecting l, it was very misleading this should not be known as a track and will not be visiting you guys again!

Unfortunately my disabled fiance did not get to complete his driving experience because the hand controls used are only temporary. He did not feel safe driving at all when the accelerator stuck and he was unable to use the brake so he asked the instructor to take over driving. Although I had telephoned and emailed Udrive to confirm his requirements before and during the booking process, on the day they were not even aware of his needs. As an experience for disabled drivers and my fiancee in particular, I have rated this 'very poor'. However, the duty manager couldn't have been more helpful and arranged a full refund straight away and offered a passenger ride as compensation. As a birthday present it was a big disappointment, but the staff at the venue did everything they could to help, which we truly appreciate.

We are really sorry that the experience did not work for you. We had discussed hand controls via email and this information had not been carried forward to the event which we take responsibility for. However having fitted the hand controls, the fact that it was a different make to the one used in the customers own car made it difficult for him to control the car himself. The instructor was able to deal with the situation and then give the driver a passenger ride, which at the time the customer was very happy with. We did refund you and you had a complimentary photo, and please accept our apologies again. We are sorry that you felt so let down. We have discussed internally at length our process for dealing with drivers needing assistance and will focus on improving our service in the future.

This experience was too short, not organised well enough & sadly a waste of time & money. I feel bad for the friends who bought the voucher for my son as a birthday present! Complete waste of money
