Very enjoyable experience, although 6 laps seemed as if you were just getting the real feel of the car, the E type jag in this case.

Firstly I was told the staff were experienced rally and race car drivers, and that they will tell me all about the car I was about to drive. Neither I felt they were experienced and no one gave me info on my cars. R8 was one of 3 cars I booked but it broke down before I got there which is fair enough. I was told to pick another car which I chose the red classic Mustang. This car seems to be in a bad state, and the drive after one lap was not worth it so I asked to change into a 911 which was ok. The laps were short and the track was made up with cones, I could only get a video in one car and pictures weren't that great. If the cars where kept clean and up to date, if the tracks weren't made up with cones then it would have made my experience better. There was an excitement building up to it but after sitting in the car it fet like I sat in some one else's car.

My instructor let the side down by not being at all interested in what he was doing and treating me as a number or commodity to be finished with as soon as possible.

I was so looking forward to my driving experience , only to be let down by the poor quality of the track setup . Its all marked out with cones NOT IMPRESSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! about 2 years ago i went to chipping norton driving experience and it was a different class. I wont be coming back to upper heyford again . If i hear anyone thinking of going to upper heyford i will warn them not to bother Big let down .

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your experience with us John. We have an airfield venue with restrictions, so I'm sorry we didn't match your expectations. We have never had this response before. The width and speed we can offer compared to other venues does give our customers an opportunity to get a fun drive in the cars. Clare

Second similar experience I've been on, found circuit a bit small. So therefore drive was short. Cars in good order and 2 out of 3 instructors were good, my last one was looking down on you! Extra rides were decent value but would have been better at 4 laps. Hope this helps

It's a shame the track is so small as my friend barely managed 100mph... Hardly the speed one hopes to drive in a Lamborghini and Ferrari!! The straights are far too short... Also, the 'hot' lap we paid for was not that fast and my friend has to sit in the back seat- they filled the car... Hardly thrilling being a back seat driver?! He had a good time, but was left wanting..........

I enjoyed the environment and the administrative bit The young lady attending to us has been very efficient and helpful.. The briefing was also good. I enjoyed the driving a bit but the steering was hard and so was putting in the gears. I drive an automatic powered steering car.. I apprecfite it is old vehicle but I thought the operation was going to be easier Nest time I shall drive an outomatic one . Suggestions... You should have your flag at the entrance as we missed the entrence at first . Secondly you should send a copy of the circuit to everyone so they can study it themselves before getting on the circuit.

Hi, thank you for the feedback, we'll pass on your suggestions to the event team! It's hard going from a modern car back to a car that was built half a century ago, before power steering was invented!

Disappointed to be sold excess waiver, to then find out in the induction that the cars duel control and that basically nothing will ever happen. 'Circuit' actually just a coned off area which could be longer and made a bit more fun. I did have a nice time though cars were great.

Dear Peter, safety is our number one priority which is why we have dual controls. This doesn't guarantee anything though. Glad you still had a nice time and that enjoyed driving the Ferrari and R8.

I enjoyed my drive in the E-type, though in terms of value for money, and getting the most out of the car, the Silverstone experience is much better in my view. The track at Hayford Park was just too small.

Hi Peter, thank you for taking the time to send us your review! I agree that driving our E Type round Silverstone would be awesome, but it would cost considerably more than the experience purchased for you! We try and deliver an experience which gives customers an opportunity to drive the car of their dreams at an affordable price. I will pass your comments on to the company that sold the experience as we are just delivering what was sold by them. Hope you make it back to Silverstone!

Pros: Great choice of cars. Staff seem very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Photo's and video available. Venue easy to get to & park up. Pre-drive course ride in a bus is a very good idea. Cons: Airfield location not as much fun/engaging as a race track. Coned out course/track was OK but a bit short. £15 for one photo print/£20 for multi-photo CD is a bit steep. Half the price and I would have bought the CD. Overall: Good intro. to a car you have always wanted to have a go in but for a really great experience go to a race track.

Perfectly acceptable service, no long queues, but the track just isn't long enough to get out of 3rd gear in the higher powered cars. Overall it was slightly underwhelming.

Thanks Cyril for taking the time to give us your feedback. The track length is designed to give everyone a fun experience of driving the cars of their dreams at an affordable price at a speed that's safe for the driver and instructor.

the instructor was very helpful, he gave sound advice, I was very disappointed in the performance of the car, I realize it is an older car but would have expected more than 50 miles an hour on a straight piece of road. I did expect to have 6 laps as quoted in the information I received but found I only had 4 when the ride was completed The surrounding area was very nice, and there were plenty of other cars to watch, Feel you could do with a wider advertising range as I found later people living around the area had no idea that they could book the experience of driving these type of cars.

The staff and driver were excellent and driving the mini was fantastic but it was a very short time driving and a LOT of hanging around in freezing cold. They also hadn't warmed the car up so it took some time to even get it started - not very professional. The waiting room is cold because the door is always open and there is Lots of waiting around outside. Endless waiting around for a very short time driving. It could be much better organised. For some reason I wasn't given a ride in a hot hatch, though on reading the info when I got back I should have had this experience before getting to do the mini blast. Check what you're expecting to get and make sure you get it. It's all a bit unorganised. And after having your driving experience you then queue in the freezing cold for an over priced photograph. Horrible coffee too from a polystyrene cup. Wasn't really feeling the love but it did make me want to try another company in future and maybe pay a bit more for a more pleasant experience.

Thank you for your feedback. I have checked the experience that was purchased for you and a Hot Lap Passenger Ride was not included, which is why you didn't get it on the day. Sorry you were so cold, we do recommend wearing warm clothes as airfields are notoriously cold places!
