“Enjoyed driving the car, no time to savour the moment swapping vehicles like being on a conveyor belt. If it was not so rushed would have been better.”

“Nice idea ,but I'm afraid to say the cars are in need of some TLC. The Austin Healey was constantly on choke,which, after several laps is wrong. The E type Jag was better,but not much. But the biggest gripe was the track not long enough plus the spectators got no views of the drivers. Prestwold hall is a much better venue.”

“Cars could have been in better condition ...i felt general safety was an issue ...briefing should have been better and in a private room ...available refreshments were basic and expensive .lacked quaility apart from all that i found it an enjoyable day albeit rushed..”

“I enjoyed the experience. I did feel that some of top end cars were quite old and tired. The Porsche was pretty battered inside and the Lamborghini was old. Most had trouble starting up! Was over very quickly as the track was tiny. So not much time to get much out of it. But hey, at least I can say that I've driven them now.”

“The car experience was brilliant and really enjoyed it. However I paid for the hot lap and waited for 30 mins, asked twice, no-one came and went home.”

“I was really annoyed that although it is a 'weekday' experience I was only actually able to book on a Friday. Then when I arrived I was told I had to pay £30 or risk a potential £5000 excess! It really put a damper on the mood to have to pay out. The experience itself (driving the cars) was fun, but it was totally not worth all the hassle of booking, getting all the way to Oxford, and hanging around all afternoon. The instructors are good - they push you to your limits with confidence.”

“Well run event with polite people. As on most of these events cars are quite heavily abused and most likely don’t run to it full potential.Breakkng in most of them required enormous amount of pressing.But that’s miner. As advertised with Virgin experience ,every car choosen will be driven for 3 miles! 3 laps Circuit was not more that a mile and for me it’s the biggest disappointment. Still enjoyed the cars ,but wouldn’t go again as driving length is not what advertised “on the tin””

Thank you for taking the time to review us. They all get read and fedback to the team. You had the 3 miles/3 laps as per your voucher it just took quicker than you probably thought it would. Our track is definitely a mile long! We do offer a lap upgrade for drivers like yourself who want more driving time but you definitely had what was on the tin!

“Good fun great to be able to drive those cars ! I drove the lambo and Ferrari ! I had a good time in the Ferrari but unfortunately the instructor in the Lambo made the experience uncomfortable and miserable because of his attitude he seemed annoyed and fed up and was quite happy to have a pop at me because of a mistake on the gears !!!”

“I enjoyed driving the cars, particularly the Lamborghini, which felt a lot more powerful than the Ferrari and everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was far too short lived though so I would only do it again if I had at least twice the amount of laps.”

“Excellent staff and professions set up. The cars are a bit worn but adequate. The track was disappointing as it's just cones set up on the old airfield runway. I've not been on one of these experiences before and was expecting some kind of race track or least a few corners not cones. With 5 or 6 cars on track and a small circuit the experience was fun but soon over in a few minutes.”

Come back and drive the full 6 laps/6 miles next time rather than the taster 3 miles/3 laps! Clare

“Selection of cars was great even though I was only driving R8. Organisation and location was great. Bit disappointed track was not a little longer (was expecting something more like Goodwood track) and the hot hatch ride was very disappointing - not the thrill I was expecting.”
