“I bought this to replace a similar drill which expired prematurely. My local dealer sent this off to Makita for repair, the repair at Makita £113. Replacement at my dealer £89 + vat. At £60 some from planet tools I’m delighted. Its a damn good tool.”

“Works well but needs large 9.0 AH batteries to have a decent battery life. 5 AH batteries last only 10/20 minutes”

“They had the best price (promotion) for the 5Ah Dewalt battery I wanted, and after it failed to arrive in the expected time their after-sales were very efficient and resolved the issue quickly. The warehouse had shipped via Royal Mail, which doesn't accept batteries. I spoke with Pete I think, who apologised immediately for their error (always welcomed), assured me he'd remind them of this condition and sent me another item which arrived the next day by courier. Mistakes happen and I was very satisfied with how it was handled, so I'm adding UK Planet Tools to my checklist of suppliers for future tool purchases.”

“Ordered several tool boxes from them all arrived promptly and were as described. Only criticism is that their courier will not leave in a safe place which is understandable with tools bu a bit of a pain When it's an empty box”
